I've had pretty consistent pain/discomfort in my knee for years so I have a good baseline to judge from. I've been taking the pharmaceutical grade chondroitin for a month now and I've noticed an improvement in my pain level especially walking up stairs. I'm hoping that over time it will get even better.

This product is for arthritis sufferers. It’s a wonder drug. Since I started using it, I’m virtually pain free and have not had to have any more cortisone shots. I highly recommend it.

For me personally, the jury is out whether chondroitin sulfate is helping me or just placebo, but just in case, I am taking it like it helps, because I think it does. I did take another brand (NOW) and found that my knee pain was managed very well, and kept to a low roar with that. I tried this after I did on line research and found reference to "pharmaceutical grade chondroitin" showing benefit. So this product states it has this component with turmeric, and I have finished the entire bottle. I do not think there is a difference in knee pain control between this and my other product, allowing for my bias as mentioned above. However, this pill is harder for me to swallow - very hard, relatively large. The other one is a soft pill (relatively flexible cover around powder). I am returning to my first chondroitin for this reason.

My doctor told me to try pharmaceutical grade Glucosamine and Chondroitin and I believe this product is far better than the other products on the market.

My mom takes these. She says they help her joints, she is 78 years old.

This is my 2nd order. I'm taking it along with Dona Glucosamine Sulfate. Per my knee MRi's I don't have a lot of cartilage left. I'm hoping to start stem cell injections and the physician suggested I start these 2 supplements, He did not give me any brand names., just said glucosamine and chondrotein. I researched both glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate. These 2 stood out as the best. I am having less pain now, but I am also taking Curcumin and I've had physical therapy too so it's hard to tell if it's one thing or a combination of things helping. None the less, I will continue taking this as I want to give my new stem cells the best chance to make cartilage.

THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE PRODUCT - NOT THE SELLER. SELLER IS GREAT! This MIGHT be a good product, I purchased it because I thought curcumin would be a good thing to take. However, when I opened the bottle it was SMURF blue! The manufacturer felt the need to add FD&C Blue #1 to the product. First - WHY; and second, if you're adding a DYE, why BLUE? Isn't curcumin orange/yellow? I strongly feel that if it is not necessary to the quality or performance of the product - keep it as pure as possible. I've got to think (and I'll research this) that the DYE is not dangerous, but I question the necessity to add it at all... Not sure if I'm keeping it or not - was just VERY surprised when I opened the bottle!
