PDP PS4 Afterglow AG 6 Wired Gaming Headset, 051-077-NA-BK

When I first saw these headphones they looked great. They have amazing sound quality and are able to hear everything perfectly. The mic is very good and allows people to hear you very clearly. Overall I think that these headphones are great and definitely recommend it for gamers. It has a nice comfortable and is very enjoyable.

I’ve had the Xbox afterglow twice now and they’ve usually lasted about a year. Got the ps4 style one because I’ve been using ps4 more lately, and I’m not sure if they’ve lowered the quality but I’ve had for less than a month and the audio quality is starting to become distorted. I have to unplug and plug it back in. I know it’s not my controller because my controller is new.

great headset, especially for the price point. Compared to the turtle beach headsets it holds it's own.

Just recieved this today and decided to give them a go.First I was not expecting some amazing headset due to the price, but even so these feel VERY cheap.Straight out of the box, the cord was bent in such a way near the ear pieces that they have dents all the way through. And seeing that the cord itself is extremely cheap, I know this will be a problem in the near future. The sound has a little more bass then is needed, to the point that the game sounds are kind of off.When I first attached them to my ps4 controller, they kept having a crackling noise whenever you moved the cord. Annoying but if you are careful to not move it much, it's not the worst thing in the world.The mic I will say is surprisingly nice. It picks up my voice well in chat, without too much pickup of background noises.The sound quality, again, is not the best. Even with all volumes, including the inline volume, turned to max...they are pretty quiet.For me, as an avid ps4 gamer, I wouldn't purchase these again unless they were for my 6 year old niece. Mainly because she wont notice the sound issues and she doesn't need them to be louder anyways.The construction of the headset is very light, which is nice for those long gaming times, without pressure on your head and ears. But at the same time, the lightness is borderline cheap feeling.Again, for the price I wasnt expecting gold. But I am also a firm believer that you should always put out quality regardless of price and for me the quality is not even equal to the price. The quality feels like a $10 pair from a little store.I will use these until they stop, which given the cheapness of the cords, I'm sure wont be too long. Hence why I am already looking for a new pair to have as backup for these going out soon.If you have kids or grandkids that game and you want a headset they can use that wont blow their ear drums or your wallet if they break them, which they probably will, then give these a go. If you are a gamer yourself, honestly dont be cheap like me and spend a little more for a better quality headset.

I got this for my son for his birthday. He loved it as an avid gamer. After two weeks it stopped working. I returned it very hassle free which was awesome and amazon sent a replacement. He has been using it for a month and it stopped working again. He loved it while it worked but for the cost-not worth it for only a month of use. Complete waste of money.

Perfect for the money. I don’t feel the need to splurge on something that could function just the same. I can hear footsteps like a pro. 😏 Best buy for the money! The material used on the cushion of Afteglow’s competitors is not comfortable at all. I love my AG 6’s and will definitely purchase another Afterglow product for my next headset.

Definitely one of the better headsets I've owned. Feels great and has fantastic voice quality.
