Simple Elegant & Versatile
Love the storage space and the lifting top. Great place to keep remotes and controllers out of sight but not out of reach. Under the lifting part we keep a place matt, and a roll of paper towel, so we can set our selves up if we want to have a snack there. The wife works from home a few days of the week, and she sets herself up on the couch with her little workstation. She says she’s more productive this way, and I’m not fighting it. Over all very versatile table.

Very practical!
Very pretty, very practical and functional. I love to be able to put away my stuff very easily. It works just as advertised. However, IT IS NOT EASY TO ASSEMBLE. If you are not very skilled at that sort of thing, I would advise you find something a bit simpler. However once is built, is good to go. I do love it. But there was no way could've build that on my own

Perfect!!!!
Whoever said on reviews that the instructions or the process to assemble the table is difficult, have never assembled furniture before.Easy instructions to follow, done in 30 min.

Love the concept.
First i fought will the foam being all over me and my carpet; gezzz do they stick even when your try to brush it off you and your clothes. Okay everything looked okay then i got to the floor board and behold damage to ever corner. I figured maybe the sides will hide it; it still showed thru; i could live with it in the inside, no one will really see it. Out of site, out of mind, right. But what kills me is that darn space inbetween the sliding part and the lifting part of the desk shown in picture. That is what's driving me nuts, it's messing with my OCD; For the love of god! So, now i might have to 1.) Either take it apart and try to shift it and/or create new holes or 2.) buy a spacer to fill in the gap. The spacer is looking good right now cause i have to go back to work. The instruction is idiot proof; its pretty easy, but if you do it a lone it may take sometime. For other it might be quick, it all depends on the individual and how fast or slow you work....lol. A screw driver or handheld power, may be useful to get it done faster too. I did mines by hand and my hands and wrist were hurting afterwards, but then again i am getting older.....lolBut overall i still like it. i can put thing away with out the cluter being everywhere and i got it on sale. So, eh!I would have liked tongibe a 5 star, but because of the issues and damages, also paying for new, instead of used it get 3 stars. :(

What I did to improve it
The media could not be loaded. I used to have a lift top table (spring loaded) I got from Walmart and I loved it. I couldn't find it so I bought this disaster. First of all, this table ended up being worthless to me because it's so freaking hard to lift. I am a crafter and I need in and out of this table frequently. The gas contraption (NOT SPRING LOADED) not only weighs a ton, it's very hard to open. It was like trying to lift something that weighed 50 lbs. Nay nay. I'm also constantly moving my table because I pull it to my couch and push it away when I get up. Here's why we use mighty movers! Glide it across the carpet! Glue those suckers on.How I make my Frankenstein tables. If you see the video(pardon the mess. I just put a bunch of stuff in it and I'll organize later), you'll notice my table top has that sparkly black top. Here's why:I put a metal sheet on top. Magnets are your friends. I put magnets on everything. Example: my cross stitch contraption. It stays put. If I'm sewing or crocheting, I have magnets on my dish holding stitch markers and what not or I have a magnet chilling with pins and needles. My cats aren't knocking over anything. My makeup mirror has a magnet on the bottom. Trust me. Magnets are a life saver. After I glued down the metal sheet, I used metal trim on the edges and then used gaffes tape to make it black and then I topped it with sparkly resin. Bam, magnetic table.I had a desk I retired but saved the drawer rollers. I used these to make the table top slide and removed the lifting catastrophe. Please see video. It took me about an hour to attach them. It's not pretty, but it's functional. Am I happy with the OG table? No. But I'm happy with the end result. It's worth buying and customizing. Definitely.P. S. I just read some of the reviews. A bunch of people are complaining the legs broke. I also noticed they also all had carpet. Carpet creates resistance when you move the table. Use mighty movers and your table will last longer. I've made those VERY cheap Walmart tables last 7+ years by utilizing mighty movers and L Brackets on the legs for added stability. Or cut a piece of wood to bar the legs together so they aren't bending. (L Brackets, yall. #2 next to magnets) I put my tables through a lot of abuse. It won't break the bank to get creative and problem solve. Work smarter, not harder.

Very Functional
Been looking for a table like this for a while so I don't have to sit at my desk to work while watching TV. This table is very functional. The top raises high enough to bring my laptop where it is comfortable to work from the couch. There is plenty of room for storage inside and the other side slides out for additional storage. It was easy enough to put together, just follow the directions closely. Do NOT over tighten screws as it says. Keep screw and bolts loose until it says to tighten. Following these hints will make it pretty easy. I was able to put it together myself but you will need a second person to help hold the top up until you can get some screws in it to hold it in place. Seems very sturdy so far. Just remember it is press wood with a laminate top. I really like the metal tube base as it makes the top more sturdy.
