Easy to use, work really great
These are extremely easy to use - a lot better than the type that uses a set screw. They're well made and surprisingly heavy. They plug in easily and stay plugged in. Solid connections, and would accept truly beefy wire. They're great!

Easy to Install Good Value
When I rewired my speakers, I used these. They work well, but they are rather loose. However they do not touch one another. So no problem there. They are super easy to use, change, etc. Recommended!

The plug doesn’t rotate, just the sheath.
I saw some reviews mentioning the plug rotating, but after receiving the plugs, I can confirm that there is a sheath on the plug that spins. The connection is perfect and the spinning sheath does not affect the connection. The sheath holds the plug inside your receiver or speaker and makes sure you have a perfect connection. These Plugs are Awesome and work Great!

These sound very good with quality 14 gauge wire!
I'm only giving this 4 out of 5 starts because I did not realize the compression tips on these spin freely. Maybe this is a nice feature for some but does not solve a problem for me. I think over time this could become a point of failure for a stable connection. Maybe they offer a version with solid tips but I did not see any. Other than that, they were easy to install, made a tight connection with the wire, and are gold plated zinc. Gold plated non-magnetic metals are the way to go since you don't want to add magnetic metals into your audio path since it can affect the signal. I paired these with KabelDirekt 14 gauge pure oxygen free copper and sounds very good on my front Left, Center, & Right speakers. Hopefully the spinning tip doesn't cause problems in the future, but for this price I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to make better and more simple speaker connections.

Who Knew?
Absolute recommend these to connect your audio wires. It was simple and easy to attach. Much simpler than trying to attach the speaker wire directly to my AVR box. Who knew? Not me...But I do now! Quality of the product was great for the price.

Excellent sound. You may have to listen for a day or two to get rid of the pops.
These connectors are gems. But, they come with one flaw. I got the Amazon Basics Connectors as a swap for Goaycer’s. The Gooycer’s were really fantastic, and provided a surprising upgrade over my previous bare wire connections to my Amp and speaker posts. I rated them a 5 Star. The Amazon Basics are even better, but…. The sound improvement from is noticeable. It is especially true when listening to higher frequency sounds. The higher frequencies become more alive and open. The bass sound slightly less pronounced, but more detailed. The sound stage even seems have a bit more depth. The results are haute audio. So, what’s the downside? Yes. Expect pops when you first install these connectors. Along with the delicious sound, one gets pops. Be patient; they go away. My music. My rig. I’m an old school acoustic jazz head who loves pianists and horn players. My rig is a bit different as I use my TV media player as my streamer transport. I use its eARC out to a HMDI audio splitter. That connection is made via a simple HDMI 8K cord. I use the AUX out to a DAC (Schiit Modi +). (Both the splinter and DAC support a 24/192 format.) I use the DAC’s RCA out to a Cambridge AXA35.

The Amazon Basics banana plugs are a good bang for the buck
I wasn’t sure about the design as I had previously used the type of banana plug where the speakers wire goes in on the side of the plug but I really like the design. I used 16 gauge speaker wire which worked great but I wonder if working with thicker 12 gauge would be more difficult to use. It would most likely work, but as opposed to just inserting the wire and tighten using a standard side wire banana plug where, you would need to separate the strands to fit the wire into the connector to screw on the plug end to secure the wire. Also, the metal plug end which is inserted is not fixed. You can easily twist the metal plug end and it turns. It has not caused any connection issues, but it needlessly introduces the potential for such problems. I don’t think that it’s necessarily a high risk, but I would prefer the most secure connections possible. Another plus of these plugs is that if the speaker connectors on your receiver or amp are close together having the wires going straight out the back of the plug makes it easier to plug and unplug the speakers and prevents the banana plugs from pushing against each other as can happen with the wire coming out of the side of the plug. Finally, having individual plugs for positive and negative is slightly more work to plug and unplug speakers compared to banana plugs where the positive and negative plugs are one piece and plug in together.

I did not expect such high quality product for such a low price.. simply superb and really great low price. I'm an Audiophile for last 25 years. I've bought all kinds of banana plugs abroad that are great. But expensive. I needed many to connect 2 home theater systems in the house. So all other options was too expensive. Hence I decided to try this as it was really cheap price. But I'm really impressed: It's very well machined and gold plated for that perfect connection. The only complaint I may have is that 12 guage cable barely fits through the hole (but fits without insulation). Just a niggle. But hardly anyone might be using 12guage... Simply WOW! Buy it... I'd recommend it to all my Audiophile friends.

Poco que reseñar para un artículo tan básico, muy buena calidad de materiales y una construcción muy bien terminada, cumple perfectamente con su función.

the design, fit and fnisinsh of these banana clips is perfect. starting from ease of attaching it to your wires to the fit while plugging them into the speaker and AVR terminals which is neither too snug, nor too loose. However, having attached them to both ends of my speaker wires and on playing music and movies through them, there is a very perceivable drop in sound quality. the sensitivity of the speaker has reduced which is in itself evident of transmission loss. this also has an adverse affect on the frequency range and response of the speakers while reproducing sound which now sounds muffled compared to when the speakers were connected through bare wires. I'm planning to get rid off them as the level of dip in sound quality is not worth the otherwise terrific ease of convenience that these banana plugs offer. for reference, i am running a pair of KEF Q350's for the front channels (on Sound Foundations Nemesis stands), a Q-Acoustics Concept Centre Channel and a pair of Bostons Acoustics A26's driven through a Marantz SR6013 AVR and a Marantz PM6006(as a power amp for the KEF Q350s), so the system is transparent enough to easily convey any shortfall in whichever component is introduced into the setup. Update 2020 : decided to reinstall them after all. The convenience over having to screw in bare wires clinched it. I just switched to better wires (Mogami Neglex and QED QX16) so the shortcoming may have been in the amazonbasics wire (or my head; i may very well have been imagining loss os sensitivity) - i think a pink noise test with a spectrometer with the volume knob at a constant position is in order to confirm my suspicions.
