They are very flexible. I think it should work. The segments are about 1 foot each, so you can test out the fit without putting it all together.

No.I just keep it in the box it came in.

Yes, you can. Put your dryer on cool mode if you have one and run the dyer while cleaning. It will push all the loose debris out. It will clean 95% of the tube. You must be careful not to reverse your drill if you are using one. The connections will come apart in the vent tube. I clean my flexible hose behind the dryer, but I will just replace it next time.

I would try it yourself first, and then if you think you need it, try a pro. I found that I was able to clean it myself using the vent cleaning kit.
