Saves time and hassle. Cats adjusted well!
Cats adjusted very quickly. App is great and much less work than manually filling their kibble

Very capable cat feeder
I purchased this PETLIBO cat feeder to replace one from a different manufacturer. The old one failed to feed when the plastic fins on the plastic rotor all broke off. I attempted to order a replacement rotor, the only part that I could find listed for that model feeder anywhere on the internet. The manufacturer was offshore and provided no contact information whatsoever. The replacement rotor didn’t fit my machine so I returned it and started my search for a different / better machine. That original feeder served me pretty well for about 2 years of continuous outdoor service in a protected location shielded from direct rain and snow. The old one had a capacity of 7 litters, but the PETLIBO is only 5 or 5-1/2 litters. As a result of this difference, I have to refill it every 5 days instead of every 7 for the old one. I wished that it held more, but that wasn’t a deal breaker for me.PETLIBO - PLEASE CONSIDER OFFERING A TALLER, HIGHER CAPACITY FOOD RESERVOIR OPTION TO FIT THIS MACHINE.My old one wasn’t WiFi enabled but the PETLIBO is. The app loaded easily on my iPhone and it works surprisingly well. I didn’t think that I’d use that feature all that much, but as it turns out after a few months in use, I do.The PETLIBO is intended for indoor use only but I’m feeding a large colony of feral cats so indoors wasn’t an option. The feeder sits exactly where my original one did, under a picnic table with an impervious top to protect it against the rain we get here in suburban Baltimore. I have it sitting on a perforated rubber pad placed on the wooden deck below the table. The rubber pad keeps it slightly elevated so that any water on the deck won’t be able to infiltrate the bottom of the feeder.I never used the AC power cord on my original feeder, opting to run that one off the 4 batteries installed as a backup power source. Without the WiFi capability, a set of batteries in that feeder surprisingly lasted between 6 and 7 months. I initially set up this PETLIBO without plugging it in to AC power as well, but WiFi use sucked down a new set of batteries over a week’s time. AC power is really needed for this bad boy, so I plugged it in.Raccoons? Yep. We got ‘em. I had inserted the old feeder into a wire mesh cage and then bungeed the assembly to the legs of my picnic table so they couldn’t tip it over, or get to the top to break into the goodies inside it. That worked perfectly.I’m using that same wire cage and bungee anchor system with the PETLIBO, but I took the top off of the wire cage so I could easily reach in and unscrew (1/4 turn) the top on the feeder to refill it. I liked this arrangement better, since I had to unbungee the old feeder/cage assembly and remove it from under the table in order for me to open the feeder for refilling. Unfortunately the damned raccoons were smart enough to quickly figure out how to unscrew the top of the PETLIBO and rob me blind! Now I put the top back on the wire cage to stop that from happening any longer. It takes me another minute to remove that wire cage top so that I can unscrew the top of the feeder, but again, I can live with that. The PETLIBO passes a larger size kibble than anything else I could find. For 2 years i had been slightly exceeding the largest kibble size permitted by the other manufacturer, I believe that was the primary reason why the plastic rotor fins broke off. The Purina Kit & Kaboodle feed that our colony really prefers didn’t feed well in that machine but the PETLIBO handles it perfectly. It’s very easy to program feeding schedules from the app. Is VERY flexible and can handle any schedule that I would ever need. It’s also very easy to change a feeding time or portion size and then change it back again tomorrow. It has a forced manual feed function where you select the portion size and then push “Feed”. Done. Instant gratification. The feeder sends “blocked outlet” messages when the feed doesn’t discharge into the 2 bowls completely. One reviewer complained about all these error messages and I would have to agree that they can be a pain. Better to know than not to know in my opinion. At our house, the raccoons usually take care of any evening plugging issues. You have the option of recording a verbal message to play when feeding and even how many times you want that message to play. The old feeder REQUIRED you to enter a voice message, even if you spoke not a word. Some people that failed to do this thought their feeder was faulty and sent them back. No such problem with the PETLIBO.

Uneven dispensing and inaccurate portion guide
I just bought this feeder to use when a trip rolls around in order to make it easier for family whenever they are in charge of caring for my cats. There are a few things I’ve noticed about this feeder that don’t really work with my cats, their lifestyles, and personalities.I currently live in a studio with my two cats, one is confident and glutinous while his brother is on the skittish side.1. It is pretty loud when it dispenses the food, granted this is to be expected. Though my confident kitty pays not mind, his brother does. And one of the things he likes to do is go for his brothers’ food. I knew the dual bowl would be a challenge due to that fact alone, but since my sensitive one doesn’t like to go near the machine it’s open game for his brother- thus leaving him hungry. I know they’ll sort themselves out as they get use to the feeder, I just don’t want their weights to fluctuate too much.2. It dispenses unevenly between the dual bowls While one side may get a good portion the other is left with a few pieces. This fact may change depending on the size and shape of kibble you use. Even though the kibble I buy is just within the recommended size, I still noticed that it tends to have some difficulty dispensing it. Small and round kibble may work better.3. The feeding guide provided does not exactly measure up perfectly to 1/4c etc…again the size and shape of the kibble may play a part in the accuracy of the conversion.I’ll probably look more into the individual feeders that have assigned collars to better regulate the feedings during my time of absence.

Big upgrade over my 2019 non-wifi feeder
6/2/24 update - the little pivoting divider that splits the food between the two bowls vanished. Only one bowl was filling. Nothing about that part on the PetLibro website or the manual about a replacement splitter other than buying a new set of replacements bowls.I made a new divider - see photo with yellow arrow. It still pivots and won’t pop off because it’s held in place with a screw from the bottom.Maybe PetLibro can tell us if that part or other parts are available. Not the fault of PetLibro. I probably knocked the original divider loose when cleaning and it became a cat toy.Original review -This feeder works very well once you understand how it operates and get it setup. There is a learning curve with this feeder and I let it run for a few days so I was certain it worked before I removed my old, difficult to program non-wifi feeder. The app works well with the feeder. I added 3 photos from the app to give an idea of what this feeder and the app can do together. You can find photos of the actual feeder on Amazon. With the app, you can set the feeding schedule on a 12 or 14 hour schedule, the amount of food dispensed and with the proper notification setup, getmessages that the feeding was successful or if there was an issue like a blocked feeder. You can also get notified when the feeder is low (<10% food left). You have to set the notifications up properly orelse you can get 6am wake up buzz from your Apple Watch that the feeder delivered (or was blocked). It’s only been a few weeks, but once I worked the notification bugs out, I have learned to like this feeder and the app. Hope that helps!
