Since you never really know what’s coming through your kitchen sink, unless you have your water, professionally tested, it’s better to be safe than sorry. I did quite a bit of research into what filters work best to drain and filter out unwanted chemicals and parabens, etc. this one came top rated, not just on Amazon but on other sites that I saw, easy to install and replace easy to wash in case it starts to get a little dirty or have some sort of buildup on the inside after a month or two. Are usually replace these every 4 to 5 months which I think is the recommended time to know that you’re not drinking too many chemicals that you’re drinking Crystal Clear water?

So first of all, they really need to update the pictures. The pictures DO NOT MATCH what they ship. The pictures showed the longlast filter, while they actually sent the elite filter. Not knowing this, I thought that the company sent me the wrong brand, so I returned it...2 more times. Before realizing that it was indeed correct. So uh, this IS the longlast filter, dont do what i did. It installed perfectly into my longlast pitcher, I've got no complaints (besides needing to change the pictures)

I used to get my water delivered and could not imagine that a simple home filter would achieve the same fresh taste. But then the pandemic happened and my water deliveries no longer came regularly, which was SO frustrating. So my son suggested I give Brita a try. I am very pleased. Water tastes great, filter lasts even longer than promised, and I am saving a lot of money. Win-win-win!

When I first installed this filter in my Brita water pitcher, I noticed that the water zips right through it! I thought.. wow, that's different. The water usually trickles slowly through the filter...hmmm. The water that pours through this filter tastes okay...I did notice that the chlorine taste was much less ...that's a good thing.Do you know what a Brita filter looks like inside? There's a guy on YouTube who took one apart. So, I took this filter apart. Does it look the same as the one the guy took apart on YouTube? No. Is it a real Brita filter? That's for you to decide. Enuf said.
