I absolutely love this curl defining cream. I use it on my Burmese half wig from Luvme and it is truly a ten out of ten product. It makes my curls bouncy, shiny, lightweight, and very well defined without feeling heavy or greasy. The texture is smooth and easy to work through the hair, and a little goes a long way. The scent is light and pleasant, which I really enjoy since I use it daily. It does a great job of controlling frizz while keeping curls soft and hydrated. This product works well for everyday use as well as special occasions. I am currently on my third or fourth bottle within a few months because I use it so regularly. I have been looking for so long for something that would help with my curls but not crunch and I finally found it. I do admit, the cream does look a little meh, kind of like a giant jar of loogy. If you are sensitive to texture like me, it may be hard to dip into the first time. But it is worth it. It smells really good but not so strong it overpowers your paid for fragrance. And when your hair dries, you have nice bouncy curls. And they are soft, defined and do not crunch like if you used gel. I wear a hair bonnet to bed and at night I use a spray bottle to dampen my hair before I put the bonnet on. I can get two-three days of good curls without having to reapply the cream. It's not heavy on the hair and you do not have to use a lot. A little goes a long way.

I was definitely skeptical at first considering the lawsuit... However my normal brand of curl custard (tgin) was not in stock and CUSTARD seems to be the only thing that gives me the curl definition I need (I use this for my retwist)! I must say I am impressed!! This will give your hair a soft flowy feel ...does not leave crunchy residue at all... it gave me the curl definition I was looking for along with keeping elongated curls throughout the day... my hair did not shrink at all!! I only gave it four stars due to it is not the textured custard I am used to... it's definitely more jelly and I find myself having to do touch up my retwist more often. I choose not to apply a blow dryer to it once I've done my twist set. I like it to be a little damp in the morning when I untwist them that way I'm able to just run my finger through them to unravel each twist with ease!! I would definitely buy again!!

Easy application and wonderful results. I apply this onto wet, moisturized hair, shake my hair to assist in the curling and have distinct, soft curls that hold through the day.

The only product I’ve found to keep my curls for 3 days. I have type 3C curls and also a gym girly so maintaining my curls is so hard. This keeps my hair hydrated and the curls looking nice for multiple days

Smell: Great Coils: Great Price: Great However, I have noticed that whenever I use this product, the next day I have a gummy/gel like substance that appears in my hair. At first, I thought it was because I was using the Mielle Leave In right before applying this custard (although that's literally what the bottle recommends...but I digress). I figured they shouldn't have a negative effect with one another given that they are part of the same line but I tested it again both on freshly washed hair (no other product) as well as days old hair (meaning it was mad dry and I wet it to add some type of moisture) and on both occasions that weird gumminess appeared on my hair. It almost looks like dried glue, which is not the look I'm going for. I'm giving it three stars because of the first three highlights that I mentioned, but I won't be buying this product again. I have tested the Doux's defining gel and I have not experienced the gumminess, but I'm still on the lookout for a cheaper alternative.
