smells terrible, works great
When I first opened the package I was immediately met with the strong smell, but so what. I used two, 3 ish inch long pieces of this tape to attach a heat sink to the top of my fanless pc It seems to hold it so tight that it feels like on piece now. I live in Arizona, so we'll see how it deals with the heat, but so far I am very satisfied. It definitely holds tightly and transfers the heat to my heat sink very well

Exactly as advertised.
I ordered this thermal tape in order to attach heat sinks to various electrical components of mine, primarily attaching Peltier coolers to ex-CPU heat sinks and water blocks to attain sub-ambient temperatures in the CPU cooling systems I design. I neglected to think about how skinny 10mm really is, but despite having to put on a bazillion adjacent strips to obtain full-coverage of the hot surface, the tape performs extremely well both in heat dissipation and in just attaching the components to one another securely!I recently started backing my LED strips with this tape as well, at least when adhering them to metal surfaces, which makes a noticeable difference in the temperature of the strips during operation.

Very Sticky and Thermally Conductive
- This tape comes off the roll really tacky and gummy/pliable. I haven't had a delamination failure except for whena surface isn't completely flat, smooth, and clean. Surface prep matters and the resin that thechips/strips/boards are made of hold the tape extremely well and will pull the tape off of anuneven/rough/dirty/greasy surface. Flatten ANY uneven surface with a grinder or beltsander, a little wet 220 and400, clean, let dry and apply. It'll stay anchored.-I have been using this Thermal Tape for a few months and have gone through 2 rolls on various LED lightingprojects. So far none of the strips, tubes, or chips have overheated while at full power for hours at atime. Works just as well as compound or paste, IME.- Way cheaper, faster, and cleaner than the fancy compounds.

Works great, can be hard to peel off the backing
Overall I am very pleased with this thermal tape, interfacing older server CPUs (mostly E5-2660v3, E5-2680v3, and E5-2698v4) with their heatsinks. It conducts heat from the CPU to the heatsink quite nicely, and compared to thermal compound it is faster and easier to apply, with less mess. I plan on buying it again when I run out.The only thing stopping me from leaving five stars is that the blue plastic backing is difficult to peel off. It's easy enough once a corner comes up, but getting that corner up can be tricky. What works best for me is to lay down more tape than I need, so the end adheres to the mounting bracket while I slide the tip of a very sharp knife between the tape and the blue backing and tease enough apart that I can grip the backing with tweezers and peel it away (see attached picture). The teasing can mess up the tape near the knife tip, hence the need to have extra (so the part that gets messed up is the extra bit, not the part needing to lay flat on the CPU). This teasing process took three times more time and effort than applying the tape in the first place. The tape comes away more cleanly than thermal compound, too, which is nice. When I dismounted a heatsink from its CPU which I had previously mounted with this thermal tape, the tape peeled away from the heatsink as a whole sheet. There was no residue left behind to clean off.

Exceeded expectations
Works well for our heat sink applications. The Package they deliver the tape in is just amazing. I am always so frustrated haveing to go through datasheets and figure out what the Adhesion power or the breakdown voltage is but this HPFIX tape puts it all on the bag. LOVE IT. I also saw a review claiming that it doesn't work so i added some images showing that it does work. In the image on the right side you can see the part w/o tape and on the left with tape. With tape stable at 85C ( pay attention to the center of the screen) and 110.2C without tape (pay attention to the HI mark on the screen).

Quality product
So much easier than thermal past and seems to transmit heat to my heat sinks super well. This product makes cooling random objects so much easier as it combines the thermal paste and mechanical affixment into one (ie so you can just slap heatsinks on things)

Not sticky at all
Works for thermals, but not really an adhesive. I put it on a heat sink and stuck it to a chip and it just fell right off of the chip. Yes I took the protective film off of it.

Pretty based
This tape smells a little funny, but there’s nothing funny about how well this stuff works. I was having severe overheating issues with a passive cooled thunderbolt dock and this saved it from basically becoming junk. I’ve taped it to an aluminum block under my desk and it’s gone from being extremely warm to ice cool. Overall very happy with this product. Will update if the adhesive starts to degrade like other reviews are pointing out.
