The minute you place this in the center console you realize this should have been how it was originally from the factory. Very simple, just place it in the spot and it slides right in and fits good. Once installed it provides three storage locations, the original arm fest latched bin, then the attachment box itself and then underneath the attachment, there is still a couple of inches of space in the original console as well. It gives a little extra storage extra overall, however due to the attachment not going all the way to the bottom of the original console storage space, it limits the size of items you can place in each storage location. For example, an item that fit in the original console but would be visible, may not fit inside the attached storage box because the Armrest won't close completely over it. But overall it does add an oem look, can store more items (that aren't to big) and the price is fair. Great product.

Perfect. Matches the interior perfectly. Not sure why bmw didn’t do this originally but definitely glad some one came up with the idea. Highly recommend. Easy install. Just drop and bam you got a center console.
