I purchased this trapeze bar with the. It works ...
I purchased this trapeze bar with the Invacare Trapeze Floor Stand - 7714P . It works exactly as it should. The person I purchased it for is very heavy but the bar seems to have no problems supporting the weight (250lb). My only issue with the bar is that there is no way to shorten the handbar level. The handbar attaches to the overhead frame with a heavy chain and "S" hook. One end of the "S" hook is pinched closed around a chain link. The other open end of the "S" hook hangs on a bolt attached to the overhead frame. I flipped the "S" hook around so the bolt went through the closed end (which also has the chain link) and left the open end to hook a lower chain link on it. That works really well, but I wish there was a more secure method that would prevent the chain link from slipping off the open end of the "S" hook. Other than that, it works as it should.

Great for people with leg or hip injury
This trapeze was an easy install and It has been a life-saver for my mom to lift up in the bed with. This trapeze allows her to adjust her left leg on the bed. Otherwise she couldn't move it. Only thing I recommend is the chain is too long. I had to adjust the link so it wouldn't hang to close to her face and cause her to hurt herself.

Great product
Easy to assemble! Quick delivery! My daughter is bedridden for now because of a motorcycle accident and the trapeze has been very useful for her therapy!

Fits the appropriate bed.
My husband needed this to reposition himself in a rented hospital style bed while in hospice. Hospice did not provide trapeze bars. I was able to install it myself following simple instructions. The directions caution not to pull on it with full weight, but my husband was able to shift his 180 lbs around effectively with it. It provided him with mobility that he would not have had otherwise and helped us try to shift his weight to avoid bedsores.

Eactly what we needed.
This trapeze is more sturdy and dependable for a big man to use. No fears that it will let go and the handle is perfect for him to grasp comfortably. My husband loves it, he reaches for it not just to help him move to the side of the bed....he uses it to exercise that left arm when his physical therapist isn't available. I had bought a larger, more elaborate one first, but that didn't work for us. This one is way better !

Very useful, well constructed and a good value.
This item doesn't bear as much weight as another one that we have by the same maker but it is just as well constructed and fits on the end of the hospital bed that we have with ease. A great item at a good price.
