Helps multiple foot problems!!
This has saved my foot from an extreme amount of pain! You can use them for many different reasons but the main reason is to keep my second toe in place. I also have metatarsal fasciitis so I added a horse shoe pad in the middle and it’s perfect (you can buy a bag of 50 pads for $8)!! I also have a bunion and it even relieves that pain. I’ve bought 2. One for work bc I’m on my feet ALL day and the other for at home. I wear it 24/7 and it keeps my second toe in place. You just have to make sure the wrap is tight and that the toe Velcro is in position FOR YOUR OWN toe comfort and best outcome.

Sorta works
Had a bunionectomy done and the doc shortened the 2nd toe. The resulting scar constantly pulls that toe up and over the other toes. Bought this to hold it down til the scar stretched enough to stay down on its own. 2 Problems, 1) the whole thing eventually slides towards the toes. Needs some kind of strap to wrap around the ankle so it don't slide. 2) the fabric that wraps around the toe also cuts into the other toes and will cut into the foot if it reaches it. Velcro tend to have sharp edges which is the problem here. So in all it works for a very short time but it can be extremely uncomfortable and painful. It's a good idea though just has a few design flaws.

Slips too easily
The main wrap around he foot just slips too easily. In just a few minutes it slipped and it was not pulling my toe down any more. For my 8 1/2 feet, the toe strap is too long, so I cannot get the pull I need unless I try to put the main wrap up higher, and then it slips down. If I make it super tight to try to stop the slipping, it's really uncomfortable, and it still eventually slips in an hour or so anyway. In addition, if I wrap just one toe, the sharp edge of the velcro digs in to my big toe. I solved that by wrapping two toes instead. After two days of this, I went back to taping.

Uncomfortable
I had some from a different company that worked well. They are wearing down, so I tried these. The toe velcro hurts so I had to send them back.

Had to rig it to make it work, but it’s ok.
My orthopedic specialist recommended this brand for my planter plate tear. The toe strap doesn’t stay in position on the toe unless you’re off the foot 100% of the time. Otherwise, It’s pulled down by the tension of the under strap as soon as you put any movement to it. It ended up cutting into the skin at the base of my toe. Not comfortable. My solution was to buy some toe socks so I could still wrap the strap around the individual toe. That solved the discomfort problem. Other than that, it seems to shift periodically to where it’s not pulling the toe down in the corrective position, so I need to adjust it a few times throughout the day. Being that I’m still partially using the foot for simple tasks, I realistically don’t expect anything to stay in place, let alone something that attaches at the bottom of my foot. At this time, my foot is still healing, so I can’t say much as to how effective it is in that department just yet. It definitely does help with metatarsal discomfort and keeps the foot from flexing too much when walking short distances, which is important. I just hope it does the trick in the long run so I won’t have to resort to surgery!

Life saver
I bought this to help with my plantar plate tear. Not only is it comfortable but after my foot surgery which repaired the plantar plate and then had the joint of my second toe fused together with a steel rod implanted in it. After my surgery I have been having difficulties with mitigating the swelling in my fire and toe. I’ve tried compression socks even toe compression socks and the one thing that has actually helped is the bio skin strap and toe strap. They send a spare toe strap so I have been either stacking two toe straps on one toe or wearing them at the same time on two different toes. I have found significant reduction in post surgery swelling when I am wearing the bio skin. You do have to be careful when putting it on to ensure that the edges do not roll but that is a simple thing to do. The benefits far out weight any challenges that I have had with it. It is much more painful when I do not wear it.

Great Product
Works great! I don’t wear it in my shoes, so I can’t review that. But I wear it lounging around. I had hammer toe surgery months back and have a bit of a floating toe. This has helped bring it down. Wore it the first day for hours and when I took it off had already found that it helped a lot. This is a BioSkin product. In sone of the pictures I’ve seen in the reviews are not the same as what I received. The one I received works really really well, very easy to use and adjustable. I like it so much I ordered a second one for the other foot. Lorri Bishop

Has made a life changing effect on me. After having surgery, and my toe being placed wrong, this has greatly helped me bring my toe back to a somewhat normal placement. Needs to be worn constantly to make a change.

Useless.

Cheaply made item. Does not include any instructions as to how to use properly. Would have expected more from a company which claims to be selling medical grade foot stabilizer.
