Is this water proof?? Idky my portable didnt come with one

Great question. If you're needing 'waterproof' then this wouldn't be on your list. It is very 'water resistant' in that it's a hard shell case with a tight fitting zipper that encircles it. If it was sitting on a table top outdoors and it started raining, and you snatched it up and put it away....then you would be OK. You could spill a glass of water on it and be OK. But to not allow water inside if submerged under water, that's 'water proof'. This hard shell case offers a lot of protection, for what it is. Can't drive over it and/or let sink to bottom of a lake. Nope. I'm using this case to hold 2 mics for my cell phone, and I put the case in a small backpack-type carrier that I take with me everywhere. Hope this helps.
