Think of it like a plug or a spacer. I take my pony elastic and put my hair into a pony, but instead of wrapping it 3 times I only wrap it twice. It seems a little loose, but it leaves room for the Pony- O product. Then I split the pony in two horizontally and tug the Pony-O fin into the center of the split ponytail, so half of my hair is on top and the other half is under the Pony-O. A little adjusting and I'm on my way! The only thing I did different was to peel off the velcro circle at the end because my hair covered that part and it did get a little stuck in my hair the first two times taking it out. Not a big deal. Folks aren't watching the video or are putting it in backwards or something because it does exactly what it says it's going to do. Would love if they made it a little lighter. And would also love a smaller version for pigtails and space buns! I'm hoping they expand their product line :)

I watched a video of this product and was very reluctant to purchase it thinking it would not work or be too heavy to hold up. I have very thin hair so I was going back-and-forth if to buy it. Well, I purchased it and it works, definitely worth the money.

I was dubious about this item, thinking it was just another hair gimmick that doesn’t work but I was pleasantly surprised. It was a bit finicky the first time using , but it is easy to use. It makes my ponytail look a lot fuller and stays in place all day. I’m impressed!

The ad for this product makes you think you are going to get three of them, you only get ONE, and they include THREE plastic rubber bands. I felt the ad was misleading as to what you really get. I also expected the rubber "bumper" to be light and a soft material...it's not, it's hard plastic and HEAVY, I have thick hair, and it didn't work or all, it's so heavy your hair can't hold it and it doesn't stay put, and again, it's very HEAVY. The three plastic rubber bands that are included will last about two times before it stretches out or breaks. I immediately returned this product.
