I’ve tried many GABA supplements for sleep/anxiety. GABA works as the “brakes” for our nervous system. Well I lost my brakes lol and it affected me sleep at night as well as having anxiety during the day. I was about to give up because I didn’t find much relief from other GABA products….until this one! I’m getting a relaxing restful sleep and wake up feeling refreshed not “drugged or groggy.” This product is the first that really impressed me. I will also take one during the day whenever I get anxiety. It takes care of the anxiety and I just feel calm and relaxed not sleepy! I’ve been on auto-ship for months and will be continuing. They are a nice gelcap and May look a bit large to some people but in my experience they go down easy and have no taste or aftertaste. Great company

There is a next day hangover with these at the beginning but over time it goes away. I believe I’m sleeping deeper and better but you HAVE to get over the first couple of months. This is typical of most GABA meds.

Helped me get some sleep.

I was looking for a product which would help me get in a deep sleep and stay in a deep sleep state longer and something that would help me avoid prescription medication. After using this product, I noticed that my dreams were more vivid and I would wake feeling more rested. Even when I can't get a full nights rest, I do not wake up feeling groggy. I've been using this product for about a year now and have given it to my doctor to recommend to other patients.

This is the second bottle of GABA I've purchased (new product; same manufacturing facility). This stuff works really well for putting me down at night, as a sleep aid. Two pills and I can count on a good night's sleep. Also helps with anxiety and mild depression. Nice that it has the theanine added as a potentiator. Not sure how much synergistic effect it has. Careful not to take every day, as it is a hormone (?), and will demote your body's own internal production. I'd taken one a day for a month, and stopped to discover my sleep was more shallow for a week thereafter. Seems like a quality product. One of the few supplements I've purchased recently that aren't made in China.

Do not buy this product. Its has either a manufacturing defect or storage heat damage. The capsules are partially melted together from either moisture or heat. Cannot remove the capsules from the container because they are one stuck glob of capsules.

I have insomnia and issues keeping my wake/sleep cycle in check. I know gaba is a great natural non-prescription requires option to help with this situation. However, it doesn’t hit the same way sleeping pills, Benadryl or Dramamine does. If you’re working on you’re wake sleep cycle where you wake up at a decent hour and you’re hoping you can get to sleep at a decent hour to turn that cycle into a habit this can help BUT take it regularly. I also have absorption issues and this liposomal version does seem to make a difference to me compared to some non-liposomal versions I’ve taken in the past. I also find it helpful, if you have absorption issues as well, to have an earlier dinner so my stomach is a little more empty and ready to process my night time supplements.
