Amazon Basics Extendable Car Snow Brush Scraper

I live in Fairbanks Alaska so I need a good sturdy brush and ice scrapper to clear our Honda Pilot. This one fits the bill at least so far as we have had our first snow falls. It feels real light to me which concerns me that it may not last as long as I like. However it does the job very well and I have no complaints about it yet.

This is the third one that I have bought for my families vehicles and all do the job. The brush is soft enough for modern automobile paints. One side is a soft brush and the other is a rubber squeegee which works well with modern glass moon roofs and then the hard plastic scraper for windshields at the other end of handle. I have had many of these over the years, but this unit makes the most sense with modern and very expensive SUV's.

Works. It is lightweight. This can be a good thing and a bad thing. The ice scraper did chip a little bit, but no biggie. The long handle is a big seller for me. Now I do not have to leave the driver’s side to brush my car when it is warming up. Car theft is trendy in my neighborhood. Doubles as a weapon if need be. Nothing that would cause sustainable damage to another, but would buy you a few moments to lock yourself in your car.

This snow broom is okay, the squeegee, broom and scraper all work well. The only issue that I have with it is that I can't find a way to keep the broom locked into its extended position. This means that when you try to push away heavy snow, the length of the broom retracts. I bought this for just under $10, easily half the price of similar items I saw in the store locally. The low price and the various snow/ice removal tools make up for the retracting issue.

I read the negative reviews and was skeptical on how long this would last. 3 months so far and it works great. You do have to take it a bit easy on the scraper end, but I used it at -18 F to scrape my windows without any breakage. As for scratching the finish on my car, I haven't seen any scratching in the clear coat from either the brush or the rubber. On a number of occasions I have used it to clear off 10+ inches of snow with no problems I would recommend

This is the best scraper I've ever bought. It's not the BEST for ice but it still gets the job done with minimal effort. The brush is amazing for snow and the squeegee is really nice for foggy mornings and dew on your window. It's lightweight and sturdy.

This is a nice little telescoping scraper. It's not as bulky as some of those really beefy "telescoping truck scrapers." The pole is quite a bit smaller in diameter than I expected. For this reason, it feels "cheap." However, after using it for several snow/ice storms and many frosty mornings, I'm surprised at its durability. No issues what so ever. Oh and I like the different style scraper. It's more broad than the typical scraper, so that's kinda nice, too.

Bought this for my van as most "long" scrapers do not extend enough to do all the way across from one side so you end up pulling the snow from the middle towards yourself which is not the best way of removing it, with this I can reach all the way across my van (Mercedes Vito 115") and push the snow away from myself the locking system can be a bit fiddly as the sponge handle tends to move about when you try to turn the lock but a bit of glue and all is great.On one end you get a small scraper for the ice on the other end is large brush for loose snow and a large squeegee to clear the screen it works so good several of my friends have ordered one as well and they all say it is the best one out there

Have always been able to reach across roof of previous cars to sweep off snow with regular scraper. Now have SUV & snow earlier this year was unreachable, leaving the roof with a Mohican of snow blowing off on my journey. I purchased this product & of course it hasn't snowed since. It's very lightweight, could telescope more to make smaller for storage, but it fits well enough in car boot, and looks as if it will do the job when the time comes.

Sadly, the item arrived damaged due to what I believe was a manufacturing defect - a piece of the plastic head holding the rubber/brush was discoloured and showed evidence of cracks. Also, in my opinion (and a friend agreed), the brush bristles are far too hard to brush snow from a car without scratching the paintwork.

No snow as yet, but I'm hoping this will do sterling work this winter.
