Very good book. Easy to understand and practical.

I have been trading for more than an year now and I have tried out quite a few positional trading techniques like RSI based, EMA Based, candle stick pattern based... I was trying the breakout or trend line based concept as well but I was finding it difficult to identify proper breakouts from the charts. This book is so well written that it gives all the information about trendlines in a crisp and clear fashion which is very easy to understand. Pros: 1.Trendline breakout concept is explained in a never before simple fashion. 2.Charts shown in every chapter helps to understand the concept very well 3. A kind of a rule based approach to identify proper breakouts is mentioned in the book which gives an objective way of deciding on script selection 4. The main points like how to identify entry point, SL, exit point, TSL is clearly provided with multiple chart examples 5. Risk management and position sizing is also covered which makes it a complete book covering all aspects of a trading system Cons: 1.Formatting seems to be an issue where we see some of the paragraphs and chapters not aligned properly. 2.A bit more information could have been provided on ideal set of stocks(like nifty 50, FnO, nifty 500) where we can find a better movement of price respecting the trendlines. Overall, considering the information contained in the book, the Cons can be clearly overseen and this is a highly recommended book for someone who wants to start with positional trading.

HOW TO MAKE MONEY WITH BREAKOUT TRADING by Indrazith Shantharaj Honestly, I am quite interested in the trading market. And for some reason, as though I had manifested it, I got the opportunity to read the book. It serves as a guide to those wanting to invest money in the market. It mainly focuses on breakout trading. The book is clearly divided chapter-wise into important topics. At first, it dives into various definitions used in the trading market to familiarise the readers with them. It defines the term 'breakout trading' and goes on to focus on how one can use it to his/her advantage. It later discusses in detail how to decide general breakout and to distinguish it from a false breakout. It talks about how one can avoid making mistakes and reduce their chances of losing money in the market easily. The author has illustrated information using charts and examples which did help me a lot in grasping the concept better. The last few chapters are dedicated to FAQs and doubts most of us would have. These chapters proved to be quite helpful. All in all, it was a good read, one that I will be making notes in, to refer later as I have been wanting to try my hands at trading. I would recommend the book to people with similar mindset, looking for their doubts on breakout trading to be cleared! __________
