Works great pulling skids back to the rear of my trailer then I can get my forks underneath much better than using straps

It’s heavier than I expected but does the job well.

The product is sturdy but won't stay closed around tree trunk unless you have someone hold it closed until you start pulling on it. It needs a spring to keep it closed. I haven't used it much because I am usually working by myself. That is why I only gave it 3 stars.

This is a beefy, heavy duty piece of kit. I used a come along and this attached the skid to move a 10x12 storage building into place, and it worked like a champ. As an added bonus, the puller stayed attached to the building skid when resetting the come along. Once in place, the puller was easy to remove.

I drive a commercial truck and on occasion I have a delivery where the receiver does not have a dock. The receiver will want me to get in the trailer and pull the pallets - which may weigh 2 - 3000 lb - with a manual pallet jack, turn the pallet around so I can get the pallet jack off the pallet and then the receiver will use their forklift to unload the product. This is nearly impossible if the trailer is on an incline. I got tired of this and purchased my own pallet puller.This one works wonders. On wood pallets - hook my chain to the puller and forklift and they are able to pull the pallet out of the trailer with no problems. All I have to do is drag the chain and reposition the puller. Its not going to work on aluminum totes which commonly have a tank. For that you'll need to get some 'J' hooks.I highly recommend this time and backbreaking effort saving device. A must for any independent truck driver!

Puller is made of strong material, so far it is working properly to move over 1 ton.

it is very strong i used it to hold up I beams and it did a good job.

I am still learning how to best use this tool. It has to be under tension to grab, but if it loosens it will fall off the object being held. Be careful not to get pinched by the heavy metal joints when it opens.
