💡 The OSRAM ULTRA LIFE brake light bulbs are ECE-certified and in theory are designed for frequent or professional drivers, claiming up to four times the lifespan of standard bulbs, with an operating life of up to 100,000 km. I think that this is artistic licence and largely irrelevant. In reality they were reasonably priced and fit perfectly into my car's socket and light housing without any issues. I typically purchase bulbs from a local automotive retailer, but these matched my car's specifications and performed as expected. While I cannot yet verify their durability, I am satisfied with their initial performance. I replaced only the failed bulb and kept the second one as a spare, although replacing both is generally recommended. ✔️

Osram are great bulbs, long lasting, bright and good light color/temperature. Look good at night and are functional and easy to install depending on the car.

Just in case of use to anyone else - bought these for a Mk3 Ford Focus (14 plate) and they do not fit. These are dual contact and the Focus wants single contact. Local garage happened to have given my wife a spare Ring Automotive RB380 12V 21/5W which fitted and worked. Photos show the two bulbs side by side single contact on the left (fits) and dual contact on right (does not fit). Other photo of the garage provided box which seems to work. My mistake for not checking but Amazon did flag this as a fit for my car. With the right bulb replacement was a matter of minutes and no twenty quid trip to Halfords.
