Where to start writing a review on something as subjective as the sense of smell.....well ill try anyway.First it has Top notes of apple, Heart notes of Geranium and Cinnamon and base notes are of a woody nature.Second this is an EDT which means that it is of a lesser strength than the parfum, however should still last 2-4 hours.Thirdly, a few sprays on pulse points is all that's needed and perhaps a touch up later in the day (depending on activity)For my personal opinion the fragrance itself is assertive but not overpowering.It doesn't say your young, old or in need of attention. It simply and quietly asserts itself but doesn't assume aggression.(forgive me if I sound pompous)Colleagues have asked (Both men and women) what fragrance I am wearing and complemented on it and so too have many clients!So it seems that it is a good fragrance for men at work at least.It is at a good price considering that the last bottle I bought at a store special was £39.99 and usually £45 so it is excellently priced.However the sense of smell is subjective if I like it doesn't mean you will. Try a sample at a store if your unsure but buy it here for the saving!

This is the aftershave my middle son uses. I usually get it for Christmas for him from my mother and I buy him a selection of his favourite toiletries from the clinique men' range. I also buy a few 'stocking fillers', a bottle of spirits or case of beer - last year I bought him his own washing machine. This year we have had a budget Christmas. I spent all my money on a damp proof course in October, then we found water underneath the house and a bathroom leak brought down half the ceiling, which wiped out any emergency funds. I initially told my sons (28 to 23 years old)not to buy me anything and I wouldn't buy them anything but my mother gave me money for them.(I have done a lot of extra shopping for her this year, she fell downstairs in February and hasn't really recovered. Her partner used to write cheques for her when she ordered mail order stuff - he now has dementia and it takes him over half an hour to write a cheque - so after the first time I said 'shall I see if I can get it on-line she kept asking about other things she wanted.) I am normally well organised and would buy this in early November but I was delighted to be able to get it at an excellent price so late in the day and still have it delivered for Christmas. My son was also delighted -he has recurrent health problems and was working long hours - he was sent home from work after collapsing and when I visited he had nothing to eat in the house. I bought him over £50 of groceries and went round a few days before Christmas and put up a small tree (mother's old one) and the wrapped gifts. The same person who told me he was ill said that he had gone into work smiling "I've got a tree and there are presents under it". So thank you very much for your excellent service.
