Bulk Pure Acetyl L-Carnitine (ALCAR) Powder, 100 g, Packaging May Vary

Just what you expect when you buy carnitine, its high quality for a very decent price.

The package was a lot smaller then anticipated but I’ve been using the product for a while and I’ve barely even used half so far. I’m noticing results from using the product which is exactly what I wanted

I mix this and Green Tea Extract Powder in about 200ml cold water and gulp it down immediately before my workout. It really does enable me to hit the treadmill harder, running measurably further and faster. It doesn't of much and the green tea extract overpowers it anyway, but I'm happy to take the hit as the alternative is to add sweeteners and whatever in an attempt to disguise it and I don't think that's worth taking extra calories for. I use a an odour resistant water blender bottle , which is filled with water for during my workout after and there is no sign of green tea or carnitine when I'm done.

I take this twice a day for Chronic Fatigue, together with D-Ribose. I've tried a shedload of other supplements, and - while they might be providing some sort of long-term help - L Carnitine and D-Ribose are the only ones that provide an obvious energy boost within 5-10 minutes. They don't work on really bad days, but if I'm feeling normal (or, at least, my new normal), they definitely do. I've recently dropped some of the other supplements - but I'll definitely be sticking with this one and D-Ribose. The orders always arrive promptly, and I appreciate the little plastic scoops in each pack.

I like this product, but normally buy it in capsule form. Thought I was saving money by buying it as a powder - thought I was going to add it to my morning juice. However, it tastes so bad that I had to order gelatin capsules to put it in which is time consuming. I recommend you buy this product in capsule form not the powder

I did not buy this for fat loss. In his book Metabolic Cardiology, Stephen Sinatra, a senior cardiologist has devised ways to improve heart function. Heart muscle uses specific substances to function well. These are CO Q10, D Ribose, Magnesium and L Carnitine. These are not cheap (except magnesium). This powdered form of L CARNITINE seems to be the most cost effective way to buy. I recommend heart patients to read the book for a convincing treatise on these supplements.

The packaging is awful, there is a small scope inside and every time you look for it inside the bag your hand touches the powder and a lot of powder gets wasted every time you use it, not to mention it’s hard to find the scope Hope they change their packaging

Normally I use this with apple juice and it’s so much better rather than mixing with water. continuously gonna use this and too early to see if it’s working.
