Money grab but does the job
I bought this system because it was the most affordable way to get what I needed: a basic alarm that would make a chirp when the doors or windows opened and set off an alarm if it happened while armed. It does those things well and that's why I gave it 4 stars.The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the app part of it isn't fully functional if you don't pay Ring for monitoring. I don't need monitoring and won't play into their money grab, so many of the app features are disabled, including some notifications.Overall, I'm happy with what it does do and don't regret my purchase but I'm annoyed about the app functionality.

Acct needed to activate outside home
I shouldn’t need an acct to activate or arm alarm using my wifi also I should need an acct to use movement sensor

How to replace batteries in some of the sensors within a month or two.
