Gemstones of the World: Newly Revised Fifth Edition

I love this book, very informative.

So I purchased this book and it was my “ Go to “ for gems before I took my gemologists class. I often read it and it still has the best information, images and descriptions of each gem . Definitely recommend this for anyone interested in gemology or as a reference to help identify.

Great little book covering all aspects of the subject. If someone wanted to know more they’d need to do an apprenticeship!

Having a 1st Edition I decided to update to the current version. This is a very informative book and has been used by me extensively over the years as reference. It is clear and concise with good photos. The latest version (fifth edition) uses the same photos and I felt these could have been upgraded and expanded upon. One of the best books in my collection. Small in size and portable.

Great book excellent text on Gem stones together with easy accessible information and beautiful photographs. Its quite hard to get this book in the UK. The Seller ( company) was excellent , I had a small question and it was answered very quickly. It had to come from America but still arrived 2 weeks ahead of time.

Only thing with this book is it didn’t really have the crystal information I wanted on a particular stone.

The most informative and useful book on gemstones that I have bought.
