Good quality looks nice and matches with our decor in our home. Definitely keeps both children and dogs out of rooms that they need not to go in. Installation was easy with the help of the assembly guide.

This is a pretty great baby gate! We've honestly used it to keep our dog out of the cat litter area because we were pretty sure he was eating cat poop for a minute there! So, I think this gate is sturdy and kind of flimsy at the same time. The sides where you can drill into the wall are sturdy! But the mesh part could be more easily damaged than typical metal gates. If my dog was super determined and a brat he could chew through it no problem, but it seems like it's an obstacle that's not worth his time now so, if you want a baby gate for your dog make sure you know your dog's personality to make sure this is the gate for your household. So, I admit I was trying to jerry-rig this gate so I wouldn't have to drill into the walls, and it half worked. I originally tried to tape the gate with 3m double sided permanent tape, that I've had work well in the past with other projects, but the left side of the gate (that is the whole main contraption) was just too heavy for the tape. The right side that has the clips, I was able to tape, and they work beautifully to hold up the mesh part of the gate. Still, I ended up putting tape on the left side, but I also used two screws to secure the gate to the wall. Overall, I'm pleased with how this baby gate turned out and I'm happy it stops my dog from eating cat poop lol

Not as sturdy as other gates. I think theres better ones out there but if your not ballin on a budget I see this being helpful. A gate is a gate and this will hold back a small toddler not like a hunk toddler. Id say it would help with little dogs like chihuahuas etc. I have a 40 lb pit puppy and shes a beast when she slides on my wood floors so she will knock this down like a bowling pin.

This gate endures a lot! My children constantly open and close it all day long. It was easy to install. And works great! I love the lock on it so if my baby tries to figure it out she can not reach the lock. However it is still easy for my seven year old to open which is exactly what I was looking for!

I really like this retractable baby gate! It’s a great solution for tight spaces where a traditional swinging gate wouldn’t work. The retractable design is sleek, and it’s easy to open and close with one hand once you get the hang of it. It keeps little ones and even small pets safely contained without being bulky or in the way. The reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the locking mechanism can be a little tricky at first, and you need to make sure it’s latched securely each time. Also, installation instructions could be clearer. But overall, it’s a very practical and attractive gate that gets the job done!
