Plastic Taxi Driver Coin Holder/Dispenser BLACK For NEW £1.00 Coins

I have now received the replacement. It is as described this time. The new £1.00 coins fit perfectly. My old coin holder/dispenser of the same brand lasted me almost exactly five years. That despite me dropping it several times on the ground. It is of robust construction. I can wholeheartedly recommend it.

Ideal strong holds plenty of coins no note holder but can fit in jacket or coat pocket good value. Made correct choice with this product.

Trying to sort out customers change, especially at night, is always problematic. Even with an interior light on, rummaging around in loose change delays everyone.However, this change holder is ideal. There isn’t a local authority that uses 5p in its charges so the five denominations from £2 down to 10p is just right. The pound coin section holds over £20 of the new style coins ie more than a bank change bag.My old coin holder was smaller but you had to turn it over if you went from £2 to £1 meaning I had to remove it every time from its secure slot. Now I can place this in the centre console and see all the coins in order. (Always check the dimensions before purchasing on-line.) I have a traditional black cab so no passengers next to me. However, it has a clip and could be attached to the drivers door for those who have passengers in the front with them.The case is made from hard plastic and the springs seem more than adequate. The only reason I have marked down on durability is that only time will tell, however my previous coin holder still works after more than two years with no issues and the quality of both is comparable.The product was dispatched by Royal Mail, so I knew it had arrived safely and within the delivery time frame.Everything considered, in very happy with this product.

I'll giving it 5 stars on everything, because it does everything I want it to do. Though I would recommend filling it with at least 10 of each coin. If you don't, there isn't enough pressure from the internal spring to 'lock' the item in place. And coins can work their way out over time.I use this for my overflow while at work, I've only been wearing it for a week. Will update in future as required.

Poor build quality, loaded it with some coins moved something underneath it and the bottom came away and nearly took my eye out with the flying springs. Fits coins well including new £1 coin does what I need after securing the bottom so it can't come loose again.

Had this for 6 months now. I’m a bus driver so it gets used heavily. Pleased to say there has been no reduction in performance from the springs, it still dispenses coins quickly and consistently. I would buy another one if this one gives up.

This is a spring loaded device which means it is Good when it is full up, but the lower down the scale you get the more tricky it is to get the money out 'quickly', so you really have to have Nimble fingers to use it when it gets low, as the spring keeps moving up and down with every touch. The best way to use TAXI POUND COIN HOLDER, is to keep it topped up with coins.It holds up to approx £80 in £2, £1, coins and 50ps, 20ps, 10ps.UPDATE: FRIDAY 2nd JUNE 2017The Plastic Taxi Driver Coin Holder/Dispenser does not accept the new £1 coins as they are too big for the £1 slot.The old £1 coins set set to be discontinued for public use, around October of this year.Thank You!

Replaces the early version which didn't take the NEW 12 sided £1 coins. Other than that change, it's the same dimensions,durable mouldings and robust construction. Fits perfectly in my work "bum bag" along with a magic wallet and 100% fulfills my needs for readily available and secure stowage of change on the move. My previous one was still going strong after 3 years of daily use.
