Super waffel iron. Heats up quickly, easy to use, easy-clean, great non-stick, beautifully cooked waffles. Recommend.

Used mine for the first time today and delighted with the results.. very simple to used and clean.. I sprayed it with a butter flavoured spray and added my batter.. the waffles cooked in a few minutes and were very easy to remove.. 🧑‍🍳 my recipe: 1 cup of plain flour 1/4 tsp salt 1 tsp baking powder 1/4 cup olive oil 1cup of milk 1 medium egg 2 tbsp sugar 1 tsp vanilla extract Mix wet ingredients first and add dry to them.. this recipe made 3 large waffles 🧑‍🍳

I did a LOT of research to find a suitable waffle maker, having just come back from a trip to Norway and wanting to extend the holiday. Reader, let me save you the bother and advise you that a lot of the ones recommended in those 'top 10' or 'best buy' lists have been discontinued. So I decided to take the plunge with this relatively cheap one. It arrived about an hour ago, and I couldn't resist testing it straight away. I'm really pleased with the result and the waffle was cooked well through. Could have added a bit more mix, but didn't want to overfill on my first attempt. Now, I did use a waffle mix (where you just add water and melted butter) so I don't know how it will fare with my own homemade batter. But so far, so good. One thing - I didn't notice the red 'ready' light turn off, so I waited for about 7 timed minutes before I used. Then timed again 5 mins for cooking rather than rely on the light. Seemed to be the right time tho. Going to be making lots of vafler this Easter weekend :-)

Where has this been all my life?? Bought it as myself and my kids have shop bought waffles every day and was getting expensive plus I wanted to incorporate more protein into my diet. This thing is so cute, small enough to pack into the cupboard but makes decent sized waffles - they are thinner than most waffles but it just means you can have more..... I only need to use a tiny amount of spray oil wiped on with kitchen towel but honestly you could just chuck the batter in there and it would be fine. A great price for endless fun at home and saving us so much money - dont need to go out to expensive restaurants for waffles when we can make them at home!!

Very good. The recipe counts and a little drizzle of oil made them the first time.

The plastic bubbles and burns, the plug broke, rendering it useless.

I really wanted to like this waffle maker as I loved the idea of having one that specifically makes heart-shapped waffles (nostalgia!). It is easy to use and, from my experience, non-stick. However, the front part of the waffles (closest to the handle) were always much thicker, as if cooked unevenly, and the middle was usually raw. I could combat the latter by cooking the waffles longer but then they would have dark brown marks and the middle would still be light and soggy. This is cheap, but I decided to opt for one that is a little more expensive, but cooks the waffles more evenly, especially since my child is very young and I want to make sure everything is fully cooked through while still tasting great!
