OFFICAL ANSWER FROM NIP+FAB BRAND - Over recent years environmental concerns have arisen about the use of plastic microbeads in cosmetic products, where they do not biodegrade and can cause damage to aquatic life forms. Nip+Fab no longer use these materials for development of new products and they have been actively replaced with biodegradable alternatives. As of March 2017 the Nip+Fab Glycolic Fix Scrub has not contained microbeads and plastic microbeads were removed from all products of the brand by December 2017. Please be aware that we are a cruelty free brand and continue to strive to improve our environmental footprint as well as ensure all products taken to market mirror this improvement. When purchasing your Glycolic Fix Scrub from Amazon to ensure that this product has been suppied directly by the Nip+Fab brand choose 'amazon.co.uk' as the seller. Q: Does this help reduce the appearance of small broken capillaries?

No. Harsh scrubs or over exfoliating actually makes fine broken capillaries worse.

I had a large brown age spot/freckle on my face, and it got rid of that.

Q: Does this feel rough like it contains sand/similar or is it cheap and not really that exfoliating?

Hi I’m a beauty therapist and this is not exfoliating at all. There are very few granular’s in this product. It’s a phyto peel not exfoliating. Basically you put it on and rub till it drys then keep rubbing till it’s peeling off taking your dead skin with it. The best exfoliator out there is the mens range (I’m a lady)! From the body shop and it’s called microdermabrasion exfoliator and is absolutely amazing!!
