Great device for helping your pelvic floor muscles. I always do my exercises anyway, but this really boosts your muscles. I do it each day whilst watching the TV in the evening so it is easy to remember. My pelvic floor muscles have become much stronger which is absolutely great. The machine is not cheap, but it is worth the investment to help with stress incontinence or to prevent stress incontinence which was the case with me. After the first month of doing it daily, you only need to do it once a week to maintain the strength in your pelvic floor muscles that you have achieved. It is easy to use, the battery life seems to last ages. It is easy to insert and when in use, is comfortable but you can feel it working. There is a big range so you can start low, and increase the strength of your muscles by increasing the intensity of the pulse. I would highly recommend this device. The only thing I would say is that I am exempt from paying VAT on medical equipment due to having a disability, but had to contact Amazon 4 times before the VAT was refunded and even then they didn't refund the VAT, they just credited me £11.80 against something else I purchased. Usually Amazon are great with their Customer service, but this was a bit of a hassle but I got there in the end.

I have been using this product since 11.05.22 so nearly a month now. I have to say that I have found it hugely helpful. I have suffered 'mixed' for about 4 years which ties in with what a lot of women say that it can be brought on by menopause. Anyway what began as run of the mill stress incontinence evolved into that plus the dreaded 'urge' incontinence. Now I have come to believe that stress incon is just a failing of the pelvic floor muscles due to age and probably exacerbated by the effects of pregnancy and childbirth (I have had 4 pregs and 5 children) however, the urge incon is odd. I know that at least some of that could be due to psychological reasons like I can know I need to go urgently but I'm alright right until I get near the loo and then woosh! However the problem is made up it is a huge problem that's for sure. Anyway, I can report that after nearly a month of using nearly every day, I have noticed a significant improvement. Using the MIXED program for 20 minutes a day has really helped. The overall effect on me is that I am now much more aware of my pelvic floor muscles and am now much more likely to practice the kegels at random times. The emphasis in the instruction manual is to go for strong squeezes so quality not quantity and this gizmo helps you to work to that. The part of the program the first 10 minutes that is for URGE is meant to somehow sooth these muscles I don't know how it's meant to work but it seems to because I am suffering less with this problem now. I think I can put some of the improvement down to the fact that I am much more aware of myself and my patterns of behaviour (like simply waiting too long to go) but it is this little gizmo that has helped me to become more aware. Overall I say - give it a go. Stress and Urge incontinence problems do not just go away, you have to do what you can to take back control of your bladder etc and this will help you do that. Also it is very easy to use, I use it for 20 minutes in the morning while I'm getting ready for the day then it goes back into its bag until tomorrow. No drama. Thank you for creating this TensCare. I bought this on the recommendation of my continence nurse as I am unable to do pelvic floor excercises by myself due to severe damage caused by a spinal injury. As I don't suffer from bladder incontinece as such, it's difficult to say whether this would have had any effect on this, but it difinitely helps with the pelvic floor excercises and I can tell my muscles are moving for the first time in 4 years and sensation has improved on one side. It has also helped to highlight the areas where vaginal sensation is totally absent, which nobody at the hospital seems remotely interested in, but is obviously important to me as I'm only 42! I struggle to use it every day as I have small children and work evenings and, at present, I need to lie down to use it, but I'm due for surgery later this year and anticipate that this will be essential during recovery to keep my muscles moving. The only reason I've only given 4 stars is that there's a little ridged plastic fixing where the wire meets the probe which is difficult to clean (I have to use an old toothbrush). I think it would have been more hygienic if this had been smooth! Overall, if you've got 20 minutes to spare every day, or enough pelvic tone to keep this in whilst stood up, then you should definitely get one of these, even if you don't suffer from incontinence (yet)...prevention is better than cure!

Really works! 5 stars I've been dealing with bladder weakness since having my second child last year. It got to the point where I'd avoid going out for coffee with friends because I was constantly worried about leaks. Even sneezing became a source of anxiety! After trying various pelvic floor exercises without much success, my GP suggested the TensCare iTouch Go. I was skeptical but desperate. The device was surprisingly easy to use. I followed the instructions and used it daily while watching TV. By the end of the second week, I noticed I wasn't rushing to the toilet as often, and I could actually laugh without crossing my legs! It's not a miracle cure - I still have occasional issues - but the improvement has been significant enough to make daily life much less stressful. The battery lasts well, and it's discreet enough to use without anyone noticing. Worth every penny for the confidence, it's given me back.

I bought this appliance just over 6 months ago and have used it daily as recommended since. I am a 68 year old male. I have a slightly enlarged prostate which I consulted my GP about and for which I take saw palmetto. I have an urge to urinate frequently, but relative to how much liquid I drink, which comes on quickly and it has been difficult for me to hold on. I get up usually once a night feeling the need to pee. This has been my situation for several years now. I consulted the manufacturer about how best to use this devise and followed their instructions. The expectation from the manufacturer was that I should see an improvement from between 2 weeks and 2 to 3 months. I haven’t! The anal probe has proved very painful to use and I could only tolerate it on a very low setting which I think had no benefit as it was too low. The machine gives a very acute pain in my anus and creates little in the way of muscle contraction which is the whole purpose. So I mainly used the pads which do give muscle contractions and I can easily use at full power. It may be that what ever causes my urination problems is outside the range of benefit from this machine. However, the use of the anal probe is so painful to make this a non-viable means of treatment for me. Also there is hardly anything about the use of the anal probe in the instructions and I had to request this be emailed to me separately which I think is a bit poor given the specifity of the device. The people at TENS were very helpful and reassuring but in the end, (no pun intended), I didn’t get the result I was hoping for. On the plus side the batteries last and last and I haven’t had to replace them and full power is still maintained. The self adhesive pads last a very long time as well if carefully looked after. Occasionally the machine changes the setting itself from the program required. Otherwise it appears robust and well made, just not effective for me. I can not therefore make any recommendation here.

Great item, but storage pouch is not as shown in picture. Instead a flimsy silk bag disappointing.

Received this today very promptly. After reading the reviews from the other ladies i wanted to give this a go. I have a very demanding 3 month old and rarely found time to do (or concentrate on) my exercises. Im 25 years old and had a very difficult birth where i almost lost my son, and due to sholder distotia, i sustained a 4th degree tear (from vagina through to wall of rectum damaging a lot of muscle tissue). Went to gyno and consultant after suffering dragging and severe aching during my period. Long story short i was told if i didnt improve my very weak pelvic floor i would suffer a prolapse at 25 years old and maybe suffer incontinence too. I wanted to ensure i was doing my excersises properly so i bought the itouch in the hope it will strengthen me up! (incidentally the physio reccommended a machine like this to aid me). Well, its really easy to use and insert. The shape of the probe means your vagina almost draws it into place automatically. I was worried i would suffer some discomfort, but i can assure you not at all! You can put the power up nice and gradually to find whats comfortable for you, and you can really feel it working! The machine tenses your muscles up slowly and releases them slowly too. Its great cos i can lie in bed once my son is asleep knowing each tme i use it my muscular health will improve. Plus, cant hurt your sex life right? Great buy, happy so far as it really does feel like its doing something, started on 50 but it goes up to 99. Hopong to go up gradually as the weeks go by so it doesnt ache. Also, i noticed on some of the reviews that there wasnt any guide on what level you should start on but i think the manufacturers have taken heed, as mine came with an extra leaflet explaining this. Got a feeling this will be a lifelong friend to me, especially if im brave enough to have any kids!!

I initially left a bed review for this product because it kept having errors and turning off, but I’ve worked out what was wrong. When it arrives and you put it all together there’s no point checking if it can reach over 20 strength, as the prob says “wires” and faults because the prob isn’t lubricated and it’s electric so it shorts itself. The only way to check if it’s ok before you try to use it properly would be to cover it in some kind of gel to stop the current hitting the work surface or your hand. Secondly, when you do insert it, the metal parts need to be alighted with your legs (plain plastic part facing upwards). Thirdly, when it’s inserted (I didn’t need to use lubricant) and you select your setting ie toned, and when I increase the strength I have to go up to at least 80 to feel anything, but the machine does it in waves. So I select 80 strength and then the light on the machine goes off and you think it’s broken, but if you put a phone light on it you’ll see the 80 drops down to zero, and then it starts to climb back up to 80 and you’ll feel something, then it drops again (some settings I have to have it on 90). I ordered one which had a fault and I thought the second one had a fault too until I kept persisting with it and worked all this out. After 4 times using it in a week (I use toned and stress) I can feel the buzzing a lot more than I could initially, so I’m assuming I’m starting to get tighter.
