No lucky if they cut through any wire. Avoid at all cost.

Will they cut 25mm copper cable

I have not used them for this specific purpose. However, the jaws will easily accommodate the circumference and they slice through much harder metals without needing to exert any force. |I would expect them to accomplish this task with ease.
