DONT BUY ANYTHING UNTIL YOU READ THIS
I have had the liberty of owning both headphones. The Bose QC35 Series 2 and the brand new Sony WH-1000XM3. I have used both for walking, aeroplane travel, travel on the underground in London and and general stuff like walking and around the house. The Sonyβs - Greatly improves over the series 2 version of the headphones. They are a right fitting headphone, very loud and impressive base. You can fiddle with the base, treble and noise cancellation until your hearts content as itβs all adjustable via the app. The best thing about these is the noise cancellation. It is the market leader and has overtaken the Bose in this area. They are comfortable and made to high standards. You can even adjust the noise cancellation at different altitudes such as in the aeroplane and this works well. I actually fell asleep with them on recently which was a first as I hate flying. Wearing them and walking I did feel a bit weird for some reason. I think it was the noise cancelling software, perhaps itβs a little too good? The Boseβs - They feel lighter, easier to live with, more roomy than the Sonyβs and not as tight a fit which I think makes the more comfortable. The noise cancellation is excellent and you can set them to high, low and off levels. The noise cancellation works very well, however not quite as good as the Sonyβs, which you can fiddle with until your hearts content with the app. The sound quality is brilliant, you do get more mid level sound with the Bose, though the Sonyβs were definitely louder with more richer base. I wish you could adjust the base and treble but you canβt or at least I canβt find out how you do it. You can adjust these setting with the Sonyβs in the app. The winner for me was the Bose. When I began looking for noise cancelling headphones I first began looking for the βbest cancellingβ on the market but there are many other factors you need to consider when making a buying decision. For me that issue was comfort and ensuring they are βfit for the purpose of the wearer. If like me you could end up wearing headphones for 2-6+hrs per day I would choose the Bose over the Sonyβs in a heartbeat. They are lighter, your ears donβt get hot or sweaty when wearing them and they have more room. Yes the noise cancellation is very slightly substandard to the Sonyβs when side by side testing (though still pretty amazing) and they arenβt as loud, but they are the best for all day wearers. If I only wanted to use my headphones for an hour or two per day, the Sonyβs would win hands down (although I found them a little tight for my big head). I advise you to try both pairs, but consider the anount of time youβll wear them for each day as comfort is really important when you have to live with these headphones. Consider the weight you like to have on your head, comfort around your ears such as the fit and tightness. Comfort becomes more important than being able to fiddle with sounds such as base and noise cancellation when you donβt actually like the things in your head. So please buy the most comfortable and then everything else will fall into ace and youβll love your decision between these two amazing brands. Last point. If you go into a busy airport and watch the commuters in London youβll quickly notice most people are wearing one brand in particular. You can guess which it is.

Premium Headphones... worth it?
I've never spent anywhere near even Β£100 before, on headphones, but I'm excitement fussy about the frequency range/response, clarity, upper end sharpness, mid and bass resolution, build quality, ease of use, build quality/strength, comfort.... And then there's the use scenarios. If I'm going out into an environment where one needs to hear what's going on the surroundings, then I usually don't want too much noise isolation, and that usually allows better air circulation. If on the other hand, I'm looking for the maximum pleasure, and want to be in my zone with whatever my media is, then noise isolation is more important. Usually at home, a medium isolation is enough to get by, so some over ear cups and good frequency range and response keeps me happy. This can be achieved very well with mid range JVC, Sony, Panasonic stuff. No need to spend over Β£50. I don't waste money on big brands names that won't even tell me their frequency response range on the box (that's takes it instantly out of my evaluation, because I consider that as hiding the quality of audio, and if it really isn't as important as they will be claiming when you ask them about it, then why hide it?). These headphones give you VERY GOOD noise isolation and actually have active noise cancellation, and the latter feature will nearly always take away from the lively crispness of the high end of the frequency range. Bose has a speciality which puts them leaps and bounds ahead of pretty much any of the competition; and that is the effectiveness of the noise cancellation technology (ability to cancel out sounds outside of the headphones), and the ability to do that and still keep the audio's high frequency crispness very much intact. For true the true audiophile, there will still be a slightly noticeable change, but this will be much less than pretty much anyone else. I'm lead to believe the closest competition to these headphones will give fractionally better high end frequency response, but the cancellation effect is nowhere near Bose's. If you're spending this sort of money and need that noise cancellation, there is nothing else that comes close, and that's undisputable. All of the above factors are very well qualified in these headphones. Specific to this model (QC35 ii), is the wireless Bluetooth features, and they are very impressive too. The sound quality, is as expected, excellent, using the latest protocols and achieving great sound quality, but the media controls on the right ear are easy to navigate with the headset on; something I've often found difficult on most wireless headphones. The left ear has a special assistant button, which was unexpectedly amazing. I honestly thought it was going to be a bit of a gimmick, but it integrates with the app that runs on your phone and gives a very slick version of your Google Assistant (on my Android devices). The Bose assistant, sort of sits between the headphones and phone in a transparent way that makes the whole experience a joy. I don't know if you've used Assistant features before, but they work better with the way the Bose stuff works, and of course, because the audio quality of these headphones is amazing, and outside noise is cancelled out, so you can clearly hear the responses from the assistant. It was all very unexpected, and actually is a very worthwhile feature for the device. A last note, the portability. These fold up fairly flat and there's a provided travel case with a protective shell design. They will keep safe in there. I recommend holding on to the little wedge inserts in the case, as I think they will help avoid rubbing between the ear cups, which might spoil the finish on the headphones over a long period of time. Despite the premium cost of these, I'm very happy with the purchase. An impressive gadget that delivers on its promises.

Best headphones out there, buy without doubt
Best headphones ive ever used. Fantastic noise cancellation especially for planes, trains and car journeys, can't hear a thing with ANC on and something playing. Some of the best sound quality too, truly can't fault bose. Outstanding battery life too. Super comfortable.

These headphones are the best I ever bought. The fit over the ears is very comfortable, and because of that the noise cancelling is amazing. Use it on a daily basis while traveling and when I really need to focus on work. Drowns out the noise properly. The sound is clear, and the bass is fantastic. Great for listening podcasts, music and for taking telephone calls. Never heared anybody complain during phonecalls. Through the Bose app, you can adjust various functions, and keep track of the battery status. Again, I really never leave home without these.

This is my 2nd pair of this model and I love how they feel. Newer headphones probably have better sound or ANC and cooler features but this is my favorite. FEATURES They can be connected to 2 devices at once and it's easy to switch between instantly. I switch between my Pixel 5, TV, ipad and my computer all the time because it remembers circa 7-8 devices. It has Google Assistant built in and that button can be changed to control other things. I use it to toggle between levels of ANC. The app allows you to change the settings easily. COMPARISON I was going to buy the Bose 700 but I didn't like how they felt. They had a little more pressure both on top of your head and on the sides compared to this one. I am also not a fan of the touch controls on the 700, especially the volume, and that you can't fold them. The travel case is also bigger. I also tried on the Sony XM4 and I didn't like how shallow their earcups were compared to these ones. They were touching my ears from the start. Not a good sign for long use. But they sounded great. COLOR I've added pictures to show how the color is a lot different than the regular black model. In the promotion pictures I didn't notice a huge difference. And it's somewhat gradual when you hold them and the light source decides what color it is. So it goes from black with a shimmer to blue. I personally really like it. MICRO-USB The only downside to it being older is the Micro-usb port. But I've started to use magnetic charging cables on my bigger devices, game controllers etc that I don't charge that often, so this older port isn't an issue anymore. SUMMARY I recommend them to people who just want the gold standard of ANC headphones and comfort when traveling or wearing headphones all day and doesn't really care about the latest features. These just work great in all situations, especially when making phone calls.

My first premium headphones, _____________________________________________________________________________________________________ We'll talk about the pros and cons in a while till then let me tell you about my views only interested people read this other skip it till pros and cons. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________ in terms of "Sound quality", there is a fight going on like sony is better or bose is better, Some go for sony some go for bose and others go for any other company. It's there choice and preference so chill and enjoy what you got. both are awesome brands every product is good in there own terms and conditions "I was so much confused between Sony MDR-1000XM3 and these Bose QC 35 ii, spend hours on youtube watching reviews, some famous YouTubers such as MKBHD, UNBOXTHERAPY, both recommended Sony over Bose because they are like value for money in features and sound quality but not in comfort and build. I bought bose QC 35 ii as comfort was my first priority. yours can be different. -------------------------------------------First Experience ---------------------------------------------------------- "I tried these Bose QC 35 ii on Reliance digital and I was shocked it was funny feeling for me it's like when a plane takes off or lands the pressure on ears was similar to the pressure that you feel in an aeroplane.--" Finally ordered these from amazon on 29 September at 20000rs and got it on 1st October as there's some offer is going on till 4th October. It took 2 days to get used to noise cancellation it's something you'll know once you feel it. don't google it just go to a store and try them out and try any active noise-cancelling headphones and decide for your self that you need ANC(Active Noise Cancellation ) headphones or NON - ANC(Active Noise Cancellation) i.e. Normal ones It's a good pair of headphones with the solid build quality you can check the pics they are not bad, comfort is the priority here the sound is not bad either it's cool though it will take some time to get used to bose signature sound like it took me some time to fully enjoy sound from these. ----------------------------------------PROS------------------------------------- 1. Awesome Build Quality loved itπππππ. 2. Black Color is a treat to eyesπππ, It's quiet and comfortable as the Name sound. 3. Sound it's Loud and Clear with soft bass, bose did a good job with a balanced sound. 4. Good Quality Carry is provided so no need to buy an aftermarket case. 5. Premium Headphones you'll feel there worth when you put them on. 6. Good battery life battery was 70% when I got them on 1st October 4:00 pm approx. and today it's 60% date 3 October time 12:48 am. used around 3-4 hours. 7. Charging cable is provided in the box. 8. You can use them wired as 2.5 to 3.5 jack cable is provided in the box. ANC will work in wired mode just turn the headphone on as usual and use it in wired mode. 9. The sound quality in wired and wireless is similar not much of a difference. 10. Used for hours found them comfortable and loved them. 11. Noise cancellation is great it shuts the world for you up to Extreme level. it's great you can almost 90%. -------------------------------------------------CONS--------------------------------------------------------- 1. Using bose connect app is a pain sometimes it detects you're headphone and sometimes not then you have to restart your headphones and app as well and it works good after that. 2. Sound quality can be better not that great, it's not bad either but not justify the price. 3.Not for a workout as they are not water-resistant. 4. Active Noise cancellation can be irritating at first but after getting used to it's a worthy feature more like an important reason to buy these headphones. 5. Can't adjust noise cancellation in wired, but you can adjust anc on Bluetooth mode in bose connect mobile app. maybe I'm missing something here I will inform you if I found some way to do it in the wired mode. I'll update this review after sometime. Thanks for reading this review, Have a good day #Peace.
