Simply easy yo fit loads of room to connect cables and can be switched when sealed

Bought a double socket and a switched fuse. Both very good quality and easy to install, however don’t come with screws to go into the wall so bare that in mind. As you can see in the pic there is somewhere to attach a padlock, and you can easily see the light to show it’s turned on.

This is really just a fused spur held by 4 clips in a waterproof box with transparent/soft rubber window. One issue with this is that the box is rather big compared to a built-in unit solution so make sure you have space for it + any glands required. Make sure you buy those as ot does not come with any. The good news is that you if you needed, say, a RCD in such a box you can buy this + normal RCD and replace the fused spur with it -> much cheaper waterproof RCD! Incidentally, BG do sell such a thing! Perhaps you can use the fused spur elsewhere?

I had to order this as I managed to overload the electrics in the workshop and melted the last one! I found this by taking a photo to do the search and luckily it was identical. Hubby fitted it for me and said it was an easy swap.

Cannot go wrong with this. Meets the regulations and great value.

I bought this as a replacement as the seal was broken on the old one. I got an electrician to fit it, but he said it was straight forward to do
