I got this after being recommended it by the dentist - I’ve unfortunately had a lot of dental issues in my life and try to buy decent stuff to help keep on top of things when possible. This one doesn’t burn when you use it unlike some other mouth washes due to it being alcohol free and it tastes quite pleasant. The fluoride formula is clinically proven for cavity protection, and I try to use it everyday. It gives me peace of mind knowing it’s helping to prevent tooth decay while keeping my breath fresh.At 400ml, the bottle lasts quite a while, even with regular use. It’s an easy extra step to add after brushing, and I appreciate how gentle it feels on my gums. Overall, if you're looking for a mouthwash that prioritizes both effectiveness and comfort, this one is definitely worth considering. It’s been a solid choice for maintaining a healthy smile!

I was given this pre and post intense chemo. It definitely played role in saving my teeth. So after stopping it for few years and dentist finding all kinds I decided to go back on it. Even my sensitivity has decreased (my own opinion and it's not vanished but definitely positive change). Stop chiselling your teeth. The things the hygienist wants mum to do twice a day is crazy. Give them decent clean night or morning then a GENTLE plain brush followed by this at the time you're not going to town cleaning. I grasp plaque is bad etc but so is receding gums as we age. Such intense scrubbing TWICE A DAY can't help. Dental hospital always had me with a soft to medium brush. This stuff is fabulous. Tingles despite no alcohol but it's bearable. Only use half the amount suggested in measuring part of cap. My gob is huge and half does the job. DON'T rinse afterwards (so many do it immediately or 5 minutes later). I do this stuff going to bed. Let it get doing it's magic. Same product for over 24yrs+ (I used it from 98). Price might have you rethink amount used. Don't water down - you dunno what magic you might wreck. Yeah I'm no dentist or hygienist but been a chronic patient and watched mum lose teeth (many) through the intense regime hygienist insists she follow. She now cut that to once a day and dry soft manual brush at night ending with this too. Floss etc as you wish but remember your gums. Your teeth like the gums covering the root funnily enough (sarcasm).

Colgate is a well known household name and this is good mouthwash recommended by the oral hygienist.

Surprisingly really nice, I’m usually quite a baby when it comes to minty mouthwash but this was very pleasant. Felt refreshed!

Good stuff, tastes ok

Good mouthwash, switched to this from a normal non-acholic one as suggested by my dentist.I've been using it during the day after meals etc to ensure the areas around my braces are clean and protected from any teeth bugs.Affordable, and always delivers in time when I've nearly ran out.

If you have read Dr Ellie's Complete Mouthcare system (popular youtuber), you will know that she recommends three mouthwashes, first Ultradex, then you brush your teeth, then Listerine Cool Mint Mouthwash, then ACT. According to whichwayhow dot com which evaluated her system, Colgate Fluorigard Fluoride Rinse is an excellent replacement for ACT, which is not available in shops in the UK, and very expensive online and/or by import. I have been using it as part of the system for over a year and find it very effective in maintaining the health of my teeth and gums. It doesn't have a 'strong' taste, or bite, like Listerine, and is great at restoring the Ph balance to your mouth after using Listerine. There's a good reason you see it lining many dentist's surgeries! Highly recommend this excellent product.
