Exceeded my expectations
It just arrived and I used the flour only once but the outcome was great.I baked the German apple cake, Apfelkuchen, and it turned fluffy and very light and easy-to-digest.I didn’t add any baking powder. So it’s super easy to use.I replaced the sugar in my recipe with honey and I was worried it would turn mushy on the inside but it was great. Very forgiving flour.

Gluten free eating!
I have three types of gluten free flour from Doves Farm, the brown bread one, the white bread and now the self-raising flour. Made some pancakes with this just the other day and they turned out delicious. Each packet comes with a recipe on the back which I find handy and a nice added touch because gluten free flour handles differently from ordinary flours. If you get bloated after eating normal bread or cake, then try baking with gluten free flour, you will notice the difference.

Bloating mostly gone
I do like this flour better than the normal stuff mainly because I don't feel that bloating feeling after I have my cake and eat it but the taste is a bit different from what I expected. The old normal flour has a better taste (this could be that I've been conditioned to it for all those years) - I almost miss using normal flour for the taste - but I definitely don't miss the bloating for sure.I will buy this again! What I will say is - if you are more hooked on the taste of your cake than you are on what is going into your body then you might think twice after - but I would give it a go at least once. You might like it - or / and spruce up your cake to suit :-)

Makes good yorkshire puddings
I have made a cake with this - works very well. I also thought I'd have a go at Yorkshire puddings - they were great. I'm impressed with this flour. I thought it would be awful as the gluten free bread I've had from the supermarket tastes awful. It is however, good stuff.

Excellent Gluten Free Flour
I love this flour & it's regularly used to make gluten free sponges which turn out beautifully. I love the fact that it's self raising as so many other gluten free flours aren't. I would recommend using half a teaspoon of Dove's Farm Xantham gum too as it helps to prevent the sponge from being very crumbly.

they all commented how very pleased they were with the Taste of the cake I'd ...
I bought this flour for friends who are gluten/ wheat intolerate, they all commented how very pleased they were with theTaste of the cake I'd made, just to let them test it out. One comment was " it actually tastes like proper cake, unlike allOther gluten free cake she had tried". So that says it all.

Weevils in flour
Purchased a pack of three in september 2020. Stored correctly. Use by date April 2021Very annoyed at finding weevils in the flour when i went to open my next bag.For those who do not knowWeevils are beetle reproduction. The female beetle deposits eggs into food or into crevices in food packages. The larvae hatch and make their way into the product to eat.If you are the seller and reading this, I can provide you with the batch number.
