Anker is a company I do not have to look at reviews as I № they stand for quality, but for all others who don’t no Anker here’s my inputYou may wonder why I’ve put this picture up with all text on itIt’s too show you, me working and just nonchalantly have it in photo and not explaining to everyoneThat’s how often people see me designing jewellery ᵃⁿᵈ charger near by amidst my tools. In social media I get comments in messenger never on the page, but now with Anker items people don’t ask about them anymore as I’ve already said my peaceCan’t help it I love Anker products. I’m not a gusher when it comes to reviews but gush away I do, I’m embarrassed to sayI play music when I make jewellery or I play Native American or Tibetan Buddhist albums to bless my chakra designsPlus as I make my jewellery I photograph all the different stagesSo chargers gotta be stand bySummer it’s my solar panelWinter their power bankAnker has seen me progress from chargers, to cables, battery banks •ᵉᵗ.ͨ...then I saw this bad boyYes it costs a little bit o money but for me it’s worth itIt’s brilliant when it’s sunny but more when combined with large mAh battery banks and various USB chargers, can be used to charge just about any electronic device, keeping a music •n photographing up and running no matter how much juice usedElectricity is a part of our lives we take for granted plugging everything we own into a wall socket. So much so wherever you go there’s charging points and with each technology the demand for power is ever growing.Batteries also power everything we use and each device or gadget needs a different one.The growth of solar panels, the natural energy, gets over this problem as well as reducing carbon footprints, and less damage to the environmentThis really steps up to the jobPlug in and fast charge up as if plugged into electricity...what slows it down is darker clouds •n stops charging. Then you get not a compatible device then suddenly sun out ᵃⁿᵈ green ticks back againIt folds very well in its case and the pockets handy to put cables inIt isn’t too light or too heavy panel, but you feel the quality. I’ve dropped it and had things drop on it ᵃⁿᵈ it withstands ᵃⁿᵈ doesn’t crack easily...withstood a cuppa tooI bought a 2 port one so could charge phone ᵃⁿᵈ iPad or speakers and equally charges brilliantlyIt is big but u find it unobtrusive to cart around as it’s so flat but that’s meTo take it out it’s on a table or dapped over a chairMy only gripe is the Velcro, could have been thicker and longerPROS* Affordable way to keep devices charged whilst travelling or sitting outside in back garden et* Works fantastically in sunshine a but slower with cloud only when it gets fuller clouds does it stop* Charges quickly* Quality casing and stitching* Not as delicate as it looks* Great with any technology: smart phones, tablets, speakers •ᵉᵗ.ͨ* I’d personally always would choose more usb outlets, for other devices or friends/family* Folds to a slim item therefore offsetting the largeness of itCONS* Internal pouch could be stronger Velcro please ᵃⁿᵈ all way along so nothing falls out I № 1ˢᵀ world problem but it infuriates meBasically I love it like all my other Anker products and I recommend

Well worth it, buy two if you can!
I purchased this Anker 21W solar panel on the 21st Oct 2015. I didn't leave a review earlier because i like to properly test stuff and under various conditions because i want to learn the limits of it. All of the youtube videos I've seen of this, show testing in ideal full sunshine conditions, but for us here in the UK it's not like that all the time here.Since the day this arrived, i have been using it on everything from charging AA/AAA batteries via USB charger to charging my mobile phone which i run dry by letting it run out of battery, then switching it on again just to get the last drop of power out of the battery so it never turns on again. My findings are that this solar panel is a very nice bit of kit. Even in the low light of winter days, I got enough of a trickle charge out that i could easily send an emergancy text to someone with only a little bit of charge time. This is extremely important to outdoors types for obvious reasons. This makes me feel safe that i can trust and rely on this bit of kit as a result, i wouldn't leave for a camping trip without this.In regards to charging my AA/AAA batteries, importantly I've been saving some money by charging them with this, although I can't be sure of how much money is being saved. I'm just happier knowing I'm saving something on my electric bills!I still have a mains battery charger though.I also got a power bank along with this solar panel - (sorry Anker, but i chose another brand's 25600mAh battery bank, seeing as it was a comparable capacity while being a bit cheaper) - and even on poor light days, i can get a decent amount of charge into it with this solar panel, enough even to run my little 5W LED USB camp light for quite a while!I also tested the battery bank like i did with my mobile phone, i ran it dry, then switched it on again to ensure i drained it completely so it couldn't turn on again. It's very important to test in such way as it will become a guide for you when you go camping. Too many people forget to correctly test their gear and then wind up being in a panic which is obviously not good when out in the middle on nowhere. So everything thus far has been very good points about this solar panel, i guess i should also mention the very slight and not really important negatives that i found:- The USB ports could do with rubber dust caps for when not in use. I easily improvised with plumbers tape.- The USB hub compartment could do with a waterproof lining and perhaps even a water proof seal behind the velcro strip, and also could do with a velcro strip that spans the entire opening instead of just a patch of velcro in the middle. This waterproof seal would be easy enough to make with a soft rubber strips that naturally seal when the velcro is fastened while still allowing cables to be connected. Simply just having a strip of velcro that covers the entire opening of the compartment would be cheapest and still be effective in most situations except if dropping into a puddle.- Lastly, some hard backing material would be nice for the USB compartment, fitted between the the USB hub and panel (when panel is folded up) seeing as the USB hub it self could act like a pressure point on the solar panel if sat on or accidently stepped on which would make cracking the panel more likely. With a hard backing on the USB compartment bettwen the hub and the panel, any pressure points the USB hub could apply would be neutralized! Now, considering I've been using/testing this over the winter and now into springtime, this panel will obviously perform even better than it has now summer is coming along and we've already had belting sunny days here where the solar panel has performed amazingly. So in time, I'll certainly buy another one of these 21W solar panels, two is better than one!
