Good quality and Durable
The Philips OneBlade Hybrid Stubble Trimmer is versatile and easy to use, with a precise blade that handles different beard lengths smoothly. It’s durable, waterproof, and comfortable to hold. I didn’t expect to use it this much (I am using for quite a long time), but it quickly became my go-to grooming tool. So far, it’s been reliable and convenient.

Top notch performance, beautiful little devices, base model is a bit flawed.
I own the base model OneBlade and recently bought the Pro too.Philips have been cunning in designing their model range to encourage people to buy the Pro model which no doubt has a higher mark-up. Unfortunately I think they went a tad too far in handicapping the base model. The flaw with the base model is the outdated NIMH battery (I believe the similarly priced Remington model uses a Lithium). They compound this flaw by not having any kind of battery indicator. All you have is a light on the charger to show it is receiving power but the light doesn't even go out when fully charged. The battery takes a long time to charge so you just have to time it yourself as you have no idea if it's full or not. The problem is that NIMH batteries have a memory so you can't really keep it on permanent charge. This is a big problem as you don't know how how much juice the battery has left due to the lack of an indicator. So you can't win. You either risk running out of battery mid-shave, or risk charging it too soon and creating a memory problem that reduces battery life.So definitely spend a bit more for a Lithium model. Just the one up from the base model. The shave itself is excellent. Not as quick or close as a top of the range foil shaver but excellent for the price. Compared to my top of the range Braun foil shaver, the OneBlade can shave to a level my beard would be at 5 hours after using the Braun. This is very impressive for such a low cost item (10% of the price of my Braun) which is really designed for stubble trimming so to do so well on a close shave is incredible. Being close but not "too close" means that you won't get ingrowing hairs with this.I've not used it on a long beard but it works great trimming a few days worth of stubble too. It could do with a wider range of trimming guides for blending so it was that issue combined with the battery problem that made me buy the top Pro model. The Pro model has a slight disadvantage in that its large trimming guide unit can make it hard to trim the hairs by your nostrils (you start stabbing your nostrils with the spikes on the guide) but you can pull the guide off and trim those bits by hand. The replacement blades might look expensive but then from what I've seen in video reviews, the performance of this device is superior to the Remington model which doesn't need replacements. Ultimately it costs less to run than my Braun did with its cleaning fluid refills and I am sure this is cheaper than buying replacement blade heads for your Gillette.I'd give the base model and the Pro a 4 star out of 5 review.I now have the ultimate combination of the Pro model with its great battery and adjustable guide, as well as being able to use the more compact trimming guides of the base unit it on it. So I have a 5 star out of 5 product! Just a shame I had to buy two devices! I wish they had chucked in some of the base models guides with the Pro unit. Buying such things separately (like the body hair guide) is a bit expensive and clearly Philips are trying to rake in some big money with a large mark-up on those accessories.

Perfect amazing I’d recommend
I love this thing I only wet shave at the weekend and normally use a shaver but the heads go fast and replacement can be hard to find but not with the it gets close that any shaver I have use that has replaceable heads yes they may cos a bit but last for an very long time, this I feel is as close as you game get to a wet shave, I will never go back to shavers

Great shaver for those with sensitive skin, and for those without.
I've been using the Oneblade as my main shaver for the last 4 years. I'm now on my 3rd unit, though this is more down to me losing my washkit rather than any fault of the unit itself. Over this time, I have used many razors, and this is the one I have, and will continue to come back to.Over this time, I've used it to edge a rather splendid beard, daily clean shaven for work, and these days, keeping the overall facial fuzz down to a dull roar using the beard combs (5mm most of the time, though the 3mm one gives an excellent deliberate stubble that's most scratchy indeed). It's also done the duties of removing several eyebrows from my peers, forsaken in wagers better not made, and been used against me to remove a moustache that in hindsight should not have been there in first place. The way the blade works makes it easy to cut through both long and short stubble, and gives one of the best dry shaves I've had, certainly at speed. The unit is light, and the blade edged on both sides, with little around it. This makes it very easy to get the positioning right and avoid accidental slips (and catastrophic results...), which I cannot say for some other razors of this type that are somewhat more unwieldy.Joking aside, I do have sensitive skin and stopped wet-shaving daily for this reason. This product does not give as close a shave as a proper wet shave, but is the closest to it that I've gotten in a way that doesn't irritate my skin, and unless one is rubbing ones face against the grain, is generally imperceptible. For those in a service background, this isn't one you can get away with for 2 days unless feeling particularly confident, with a stubble normally visible the next morning.I travel frequently for work, and when I was shaving daily, I would normally be happy chancing it without the charger for a 4~5 day trip. At one stage, I had the model above this one (4 beard combs included) which does include an upgraded Lithium Ion (Versus the NiMh in this version) battery, which I recall being slightly better for longevity, but the shaving experience was identical. My one singular complaint is the mechanical durability of the blades. One should really avoid throwing this loose into a washkit. The mechanism that allows the head to rotate is fragile, and doesn't handle impacts well. To protect against this, Phillips include a little plastic head cover, but I lost that quickly. Instead, I just pop the head off and place it in the washkit separately, and have a new blade (individually packaged) that also lives there just in case.In summary, it's a cracking razor and I've not found one as good for the price. Make sure to get the bundles like this one with the extra blades included, and I've seen these going on very low prices on most of the Amazon sales, so worth keeping an eye out (even just for the blades).
