Plasti-kote 1148 400ml Super Enamel Primer - Grey

This is a good primer at a decent price after I stopped being able to source it locally, use it for priming 3d printed models extensible and it covers well with no issues at all.

Great product, easy to use with an excellent finish. Used this on my Judge Dredd helmet build. Quick delivery and excellent service!

Good product for small jobs, I wouldn't purchase this for a big job. For example, i bought three of these cans to respray the roof of my swb vw T4 thinking i'd get at least two coats but I only managed one coat and had to pop to the shops to get a top up.

Used this paint primer spray for years always good quality and lasts well without the nozzle clogging, best used outside but isn’t bad smelling at all really highly recommended.

Did its job, no drips, easy to rub down. black gloss adhered well. Bit expensive but needed it same day.

Amazing!!!! Do not buy anywhere in the uk. This covered 100 percent of a very large coffee table. I had a similar coffee table same size, bought the exact same product from wickes, took me three cans.

The product itself seems pretty good! No problems with the actual paint. But, it started to spatter with at least a third of the can remaining so I couldn’t use all of it properly.I had shaken the can as directed and ensured the nozzle was clean before every coat, but sadly it began to do more harm than good when using the last third because with the spatter I had to flat the surface back so much that it wasn’t worth bothering.I purchased this along with some plasti-kote black paint (which I found to be very orange peely), so I don’t think I’ll use their products in future.In my opinion, save your money, I found this stuff to be worse than cheaper options where you get more in the can for less money.If like me you are looking at plasti-kite because you are painting plastic (which seems like sound thinking to me), I’ve found other products are equally compatible with the same materials and perform better. Plasti-kote is just a name, there is nothing about it that is superior for plastics (imho).

Plasti-kote primer was recomended by a leading DIY store who for some reason no longer stock it!! Fortunately Amazon is able to supply with their usual great service and price. The spray was easy to use and gave a good base coat and key for the top colour. Recomended and will use again when a primer is required.
