Decdeal Solar Powered Water Pump Solar Pond Pump Upgraded Submersible Fountain Pump for Bird Bath 170L/H

I was sceptical when it arrived as it is very small. However it runs beautifully and is active even on cloudy days. The water spout is very high in full sun so I did what some other reviewers did and widened the holes to reduce the flow as I only want a trickle as even in a 60cm dish there is splashing. I only have one gripe and that is that there is no way of attaching the solar panel to anything. There is no stick to put it in the ground or hook to attach it higher up. I ended up with an untidy arrangement of wire to attatch it to a fence post and I am not sure it will survive a high wind.

Great little fountain to enable a shallow garden container to be turned into a water feature conveniently and cheaply. Don't know how long it will last as only just set it up but so far so good! It does require full sun as fountain diminishes to a trickle when a cloud appears but in the sun it works well. It comes with several different attachments to allow choice of fountain styles. Video shows the basic one. Am happy with purchase and would recommend.

Very good quality

Easy to assemble, not easy to place solar panel as it has no way of fasting it in place, and if it did it would also be a problem as you have to have the panel pointing directly at the sun so need to move it throughout the day. I spent time reading reviews and choosing, I went for this one it was more expensive than some, I thought it would better.quality I was wrong, any slight shadow, cloud or wind blowing a plant that casts a shadow and it stops working . I checking thinking they had sent me the wrong one can’t believe the poor quality for the price

It lasted for a year and made a great feature on the patio. Over the winter the solar panel showed signs of decay, but an enthuiastic youngster with a strimmer did for in the end. It proved the water feature was good and so a powerpoint was installed for a permanent pump to be installed.

3 months on this solar pump is exactly what I was looking for, im still amazed at how strong it is when in direct sunlight. When in light sunlight it still pumps more than id have expected. I bought it to sit in the bird bath to keep the water moving, it does the trick and the birds seem to love it. It comes with lots of different spray heads, I decided to modify one to give a medium sized single jet as the ones included as standard fire the water too high which just empties the bird bath... It’s worth adding that it also comes with an impressive amount of wire between the pump and the solar panel. Only downside is the solar panel doesn’t come with anything to attach it to anything, but that’s expected.

When this works, it's really very nice and does what I want it to do - a little fountain, not too high, and a nice sound of trickling water. I was quite happy for it to come and go as the sun comes and goes, but what tends to happen is when the sun goes behind a cloud it stops, and doesn't start again. I can 'reset' it by passing my hand over the solar panel but as I live in the north east we have a lot of clouds so I'd be stood there all day. Right now it's blazing sunshine, but no fountain - there has been a slight cloud pass over and that's been enough to stop it entirely. I wouldn't recommend it, but then I guess you get what you pay for!

Great worked just how i wanted it to and dont have to draw a wire all the way to a source of power. The solar panel is small so if a branch or something blocks the sunlight then it stops pumping but when it does pump the water it does pump it quite high so ideal for a fountain or pond feature. Great idea to put a solar panel on a pump but it don't collect and store charge so as soon as sunlight is lost it stops

Very small but still give fountain height of at least 1-1/2 ft. Very sensitive to shadows but works very well in bright sunlight. OK The thing went today. So I guess Its not that good quality. and not reliable.

Bellissima fontanella molto semplice e robusta ,io la uso per un vaso con i fiori ed è molto apprezzata dagli uccellini che in questa estate molto calda si vengono a rinfrescare. Rapporto qualità prezzo buono. Ottimo acquisto.
