This is such a good alternative option for hot chocolate. I’ve been getting this for a while and really look forward to it as the taste is so good. Very different to the average hot chocolates that are laden with sugar so that’s all you can taste when drinking. I wish they would sell it in a pot to give more value but I will keep buying as I love it.

I was a little afraid that I am not going to like the flavour because the cacao is really expensive compared with the brands you can buy in a grocery shop. However, the flavour is quite weak and I didn't feel any distinct taste. On the other hand, the cacao has a pleasant cinnamon aftertaste. The FourSigmatic website claims that the reishi mushrooms helps to support restful sleep. I usually don't expect much from these 'I will help you to sleep better' products, but after finishing drinking it I actually felt sleepy. The last thing, the sacket is small so you won't be able to get a lot of drink out of it; and don't put too much water - it will get too watery.

Mostly tastes like a hot chocolate, definitely notice a relaxing effect if taken 1-2 hours before bed. Quality of sleep is notably better. Would be great if they sold it as a large container instead of individual sachets to improve the value for money

Obsessed with Four Sigmatic coffee so thought I’d try this as a calming drink. Tastes great with milk but noticed both times I tried it in the evening I struggled to sleep afterwards! I find the coffee definitely works in terms of energy and focus but sadly this didn’t really deliver on calm!

If you don't like overly sweet drinks with added sweeteners, I don't recommend this product. I initially thought it contained cocoa and reishi, but I was mistaken. Adding sweeteners to the product seems unnecessary, as it takes away the option for consumers to adjust the sweetness to their preference. It also contains cinnamon, but the label doesn't specify whether it's Ceylon or Cassia, the latter of which can be harmful in large amounts. Also if your order is wrong or you want a return Amazon does not give support you have to contact four sigmatic and they don’t reply.

I was very excited to try these as I enjoy treating my body to health products so I decided to give these a go, I originally thought these were quite pricey, but having thought further these are only £1 per sachet so they're not too expensive and cheaper than buying an unhealthy hot chocolate from a café. These taste absolutely amazing, they have a sort of relaxing / wintery smell / taste and got me to sleep very quickly. I received these yesterday which was 1 day ahead of expected date and they were in perfect condition- they were so good I ordered another box today so I have some back up when they run out :) delicious!!!

These are expensive but then isn’t all health and wellbeing products. Tastes really nice. I’ve enjoyed as a hot chocolate substitute in the evening with just hot water, and a latte substitute during the festive period in the afternoon with almond milk. Both enjoyable. I would definitely buy these again but to begrudge spending so much on them.

It is not as sweet, obviously, as other cacoa mixes. I love the flavor, though! I do have to add some sweetener, but it's also really great with extra healthy creamer!

My ABSOLUTE FAV!!!! Oh I think I may be addicted to this lovely healthy hot cocoa! Love that it is PACKED with all the healthy nutrients of mushrooms. Yet ya never taste it.I have tried other brands but my sensitive tummy reacted to each. This is the first that did not flare me up. Yes it costs more but the smoothness and consistency in the flavor is sooo worth it! Also, Yes it does make a smaller cup size, and sometimes i like that. If I'm feeling like a larger one, I simply add a bit of raw cacao powder, pinch or two of ceylon cinnamon, and top it up. It took some experimenting to get the right ratio, but well worth it. Love this cup of goodness. Truly relaxing and enjoyable. Especially if you are dairy, sugar, Gluten intolerant. I have also added a dolop of chas whipping coconut cream on occasion, but only once or twice. I really enjoy the hot cocoa flavor of this one as is!
