Plain Purple Polycotton Fabric (Per Metre) by Nortex Mill

This is a very nice quality of polycotton fabric in a lovely purple. To my delight it is not at all transparent and doesn't need lining. I made it into a tunic. You should note, however, that it is very crisp, even after washing. This is a good thing, but not if you want drape – if you gather it, it will stick out somewhat at the gathers – more than, say, a lawn-type cotton. It would be great for a smart shirt (school-shirt style), tunic or summer dress, but not for a slinky skirt.

Good product at the right price with quick delivery . Purple is my daughter's favourite and this is "Cadbury purple" so a perfect match for a craft project in progress. I have purchased this fabric a few times and it is consistently good. Suspect I will be back again.

The fabric colour matches the picture perfectly, customer service gave me a prompt response to a query I had re: delivery, fabric feels nice - looking forward to working with it, might need more sewing project to have an excuse to buy more :D

This was used to make matching face masks. For wedding party. Very pleased with quality and colour. Cost was very competitive. Excellent all round.

The price was good value, bought 5 metre. Colour looks slightly not as deeper purple coloured on the image . The fabric was good value sheeting. bought ideal for lining lining, Sheets and pillowcases. May use sone for quilting,
