Impressive performance and versatile connectivity!
I recently purchased the SanDisk Ultra 128 GB Dual Type-C USB 3.1 Flash Drive in Silver and I am extremely satisfied with its performance and versatility. This flash drive has quickly become an essential tool in my digital life!Firstly, the speed of this flash drive is impressive. With USB 3.1 technology, transferring large files or backing up data is a breeze. I was able to transfer a 4GB video file in just a matter of seconds! Whether it's movies, music, or documents, this flash drive handles it all without any lag or slowdowns. The dual Type-C and USB 3.1 connectors are a game-changer. I can easily connect it to my MacBook Pro or any other USB Type-C-enabled device. No more hassle of carrying multiple flash drives or adapters. It's a true plug-and-play experience, and the compatibility is excellent. The build quality of the flash drive is top-notch. The sleek silver design gives it a premium look and feels durable in hand. The retractable design protects the connectors when not in use, ensuring they stay safe from damage. I appreciate this thoughtful feature as it adds to the overall longevity of the product. In terms of storage capacity, the 128 GB is more than sufficient for my needs. It allows me to store a large number of files, photos, and even HD videos. Plus, the SanDisk SecureAccess software provides an added layer of security for my sensitive data, giving me peace of mind.Overall, the SanDisk Ultra 128 GB Dual Type-C USB 3.1 Flash Drive is a fantastic product that offers excellent performance and convenience. It's a reliable companion for anyone who needs to transfer or store data quickly and effortlessly. Highly recommended!

Convenient and Versatile Flash Drive for Multiple Devices
I bought the SanDisk 128GB Ultra Dual Drive Flash Drive to make file transfers easier between my various devices, which use both USB Type-C and Type-A connectors. I was tired of losing separate adapters and wanted a more streamlined solution for transferring files quickly between my MacBook Pro and work computer.Pros:• Dual connectors (USB-C and USB-A) make it compatible with a wide range of devices.• Quick and easy file transfers, no need for Dropbox or emailing files to myself.• Slider feature hides connectors when not in use, reducing the risk of damage.• Ample storage for PDFs, images, and small files.Cons:• Doesn’t have a way to attach it to keys, which could be convenient for portability.• Storage may not be enough for large video or music files.Overall, it’s a practical and reliable tool for transferring files across different devices without the hassle of adapters.

Great but...
PROS• Cheap at under £18 (compared to other type-c)• Small and Compact• Works with MAC and PC• Large capacity and fast transfer speedCONS• Too wide to have both ports on macbook pro in use at same time (first world struggle is real)• Flimsy and feels like you need to be extra careful when in use. I’m too used to solid metal usb sticks• Time will tell if it breaks easily but I am already having trust issues due to feeling it may break (accidents do happen)CONCLUSIONIf on a budget and you are not saving your life on this device and solely relying on it, it is definitely worth the money

Durable and fast
Quite quick and durable. Have had for more than about 2 years and it works perfectly still.

Brilliant cheap solution
Works brilliantly as a flash drive to transfer files from a USB A port to a USB C port. Pretty fast too. Happy to recommend.

Small, light and pocketable. Good dual connector, both A & C USB.

Hot, but smart and fast
Don't get me wrong, these do generate heat. I've bought a few of these however as they're very smart and work well. The mechanism does weaken over time however, so you will need to hold the switch as you plug it in but that doesn't affect me, I'm still a fan of these drives.

Inexpensive memory, cheaply made, Type C insert too short to fit protective cases
I bought this SanDisk Ultra 128 GB Dual Type-C USB 3.1 Flash Drive to save art out of my 2020 12.9" iPad Pro. The slide on top of the key pushes out either a USB A or USB C male connector. With the slider centered the key fits comfortably in a fob pocket; not quite small enough to fear losing it, not large enough to make a bulge even in a very small pocket. The USB C connector is too short to fit through the Supcase Unicorn Beetle Pro protective case I fitted to the iPad. It would have been a simple matter to make the male insert a bit longer and to supply a rubber distancing ring for those brave (very rich? extremely careless?) people who use bare iPads. Someone should tell SanDisk that the majority of two-grand tablet users put it in a protective case. The cost per Gigabyte is very reasonable indeed but the thing appears cheaply made in glossy plastic. i have no faith that the plastic slide operator will survive for long. The dimpling in the non-metalic part of the case is decorative, not rough enough to add grip. The USB drive's formatting worked without alteration in my iMac. Not having to reformat a thumb drive is a time advantage. To make it work in the iPad Pro I used SanDisk's key via a Uni hub in which the USB A end fits, with the hub connected to the iPad by a short cable. The SanDisk key works with and without the hub being powered, and it works in either USB Type A Version 2 or Type A Version 3 ports on the hub. In Version 1.1 ports it worked best in LaCie drives from under a MacMini which have distributive powered hubs built in; that might be a saving if you have a V1.1 hub lying around and work mainly with text, where the high transfer speed of the newer USB A specifications is less important than for transferring huge amounts of video. I didn't conduct any speed tests because lightning fast is fast enough for me.All in all not as satisfying as SanDisk's own relatively more expensive and solid first series Cruzer Blade or the generally more expensive Verbatim USB keys but good value for giving you a lot of GB for the money.SanDisk Ultra 128 GB Dual Type-C USB 3.1 Flash Drive does most of the job on uncased Type C computer gear, it is versatile in also having a USB A plug for use with older gear or in a hub with new gear, it's inexpensive per Gigabyte, but the construction and materials may be suspect and the convenience I bought it for didn't materialise, so three stars in my use.A less demanding user who accepts that a flash drive is a consumable item -- as I do not -- may reasonably give it four stars.
