Holds charge great, better to get these than single-use
I was looking for some reliable, rechargeable AAA batteries for the various remote controls around the house, and this Duracell pack has been the perfect solution. These batteries hold their charge exceptionally well, which is exactly what you want for low-drain devices like remotes. It's a relief knowing I won't have to rummage through drawers for a fresh pair for a very long time. They've been completely dependable so far. When you consider the long-term value, it's better to get some reliable rechargeable batteries than use single-use batteries. Much easier to re-charge an empty reusable battery than to dispose of a single use one at the battery bank and buy some more. This is a solid, practical choice for keeping all your household remotes powered up and ready to go.

It's a bit wide, and unplugging and replugging seems to kick off another charge cycle, but it does charge and batteries are good
My old charger is still working, but many of the older batteries are on their last legs, so I thought that this would be a good compromise, a new charger and batteries. It's decent enough, but not without some drawbacks. I can find no reason to suppose that this isn't a genuine Duracell products, which I see is what some other reviewers may be thinking. The batteries certainly seem to be up to the brand name. Any negatives, such as they are, relate to the charger. It seems to work well enough but has two issues. The first is the size, it's quite wide, and therefore can't be inserted into the middle of a multiplug as it would take up three sockets, the width extending into the pin holes of the sockets either side. Plugging it in to one end means it only takes up the space of two sockets. Secondly, and this has been reported by other reviewers, once the red lights change to green, unplugging and plugging it back in again, and they go back to red, suggesting another charging cycle is taking place. This either means that it charges using a timing function, or that the voltage sensors don't really work that well.Still, only longer term testing will identify whether this is a really decent charger. Will try to remember to update this review, should any developments arise.

Reliable, Safe, and Eco-Friendly Charging
I purchased the Duracell CEF14 charger to replace my old unit, and I’m thoroughly impressed. It charges both AA and AAA NiMH rechargeable batteries safely and efficiently.Key Features:Charging Time: The charger delivers up to 90% charge in approximately 4 hours for AA batteries (1300 mAh) and 80% for AAA batteries (750 mAh). For higher-capacity batteries, like 1800–2200 mAh, expect a full charge in about 10–12 hours.Safety Features: It includes overcharge protection, temperature monitoring, and battery fault detection, ensuring safe charging.LED Indicators: The charger has LED indicators to show charging status, making it easy to monitor the process.Worldwide Compatibility: With an input voltage range of 100–240V, it's suitable for use in most countries.Pros:Charges 2 or 4 batteries simultaneously.Compact and user-friendly design.Comes with 2 AA and 2 AAA rechargeable batteries included.Cons:Charging time is longer compared to some high-speed chargers, but this is typical for chargers prioritizing battery health.Final Verdict:The Duracell CEF14 charger is a reliable and safe option for everyday battery charging needs. Its safety features and compatibility with both AA and AAA batteries make it a versatile choice for households and small offices.

Good quality and fast!
A very good charger. Does take longer than 45mins to charge batteries to 100%, but it's still relatively quick regardless. Quality as you'd expect from Duracell.

A good replacement for my cordless phone batteries.
I abought these batteries to replace the ones that I found in the Cordless handset of my BT phone/answer machine as I was told that BT do not sell replacements of them for their equipment. They were quite a tight fit but I liked the fact that they came already partially charged as it meant that I could put them in and use the handset straight away.So far the performance is excellent. I cannot comment on their longevity yet as they have only been in place for a couple of weeks. But because they came as a pack of 4, it means that I still have 2 spare batteries when the current ones die, although I don't expect that to happen any time soon.
