Summer Basics Motorised Handheld Fan, Assorted Colours

I love this fan, excellent fast delivery, well packaged. I find it hard to comprehend what some of the reviews are talking about it does not seem to be about the same product. I am 69 years old and had no trouble putting the fan together 2 screws follow the instructions and it takes about 15 minutes maximum, unpacking it probably takes longer. It is not silent but it is pleasantly quiet. Overall a decent fan that does a decent job.Regards Mike B

Awful awful product. I was not aware that generic meant that all customer got a different fan depending on availability. That should be stated clearly. The particular fan I got had several redundant parts that did not go with the other bits. Looks like I got the part to two different fans. The instructions I got did not match the components I had been sold. The bottom plate doesn't fit to the base, I did not get the small screw that secures the whole thing together, which means it's noisy and rattly. I've managed to get the damn thing working but it's the possibly the poorest product I've ever purchased. I would return in but I honestly can't be bothered. I'll just buy another one from a different company. Other should be aware of the really poor state of this product. The one I got was schallen but there's not much point in giving the model number since the instructions that state the number don't match the product I got although both were stated as being schallen. If you order from this specific place, you might be lucky and get one that works and does what it says on the tin, but I was unlucky and so others have been according to other reviews. I'd suggest buying from a different place.

Standard white, oscillating desk fan for quite a reasonable price and came very quickly by post. Although the box was a bit battered! It took me quite a bit to figure out how to assemble it, as the manual isn't too helpful. Noise level is minimal however the size of the fan is much bigger than I first expected so it will take up considerable space on a desk although fine in other circumstances.

This is a really good fan it has three settings but is adequate on setting 1 for my use on a desk. It would work really well in a big space and is as good as one of the floor stands. It's easy to put together and the instructions are pretty clear. It is also reasonably priced as well.

As 1 of my older fans got broken I needed a replacement and this fitted what I was looking. I am unable to leave windows open at night upsrtairs because my cats would probably go out of them not realising they are upstairs!It wasn't the cheapest fan for sale nor was it the most expensive, but for the price I payed I am pleased with it. Due to the weather in the Lake District being really hot for over a month we needed another fan as we had 1 on the landing upstairs to try and cool down 2 bedrooms (didn't really work.)It arrived quicker than the expected date which was really good. It came boxed with all the parts inside and the instructions. It was really easy and quick to put together. It is a bit bigger than I thought it would be but this is not a problem. It has multi speed settings and can be set on a fixed place or so it turns round. It is definately worth the money. I may buy another 1 for downstairs.

Very flimsy materials but was easy to assemble and blows air around. Have to wonder how long it will last given the quality of parts.

It's hard to imagine a product that embodies the concept of "cheap and cheerful" more perfectly than this fan. It requires a screwdriver to fit the base, for no reason other than making the packaging as small as possible. The screws supplied bite then turn around and around, never actually doing up. The mesh grill was dented in several places, but it's so flimsy that it's very easy to push it back into shape. The rear mesh engages OK with the fan body but the arrangement of prongs is totally different to that pictured in the manual, so just ignore the manual. The screw to hold the bottom part of the two grills together was missing, and according to the manual is totally essential. I improvised with my own spare parts as I don't want the hassle of sending this back in the current heatwave.So... it does blow cold air quite well. I would say its quality doesn't match with the price, I'd expect to pay under £10 for such a cheap and flimsy item.

Purchased before the June 2017 heatwave, it's amazing, I have it running on the second speed so that it does not disturb paper on my desk, it's keeping me cool even though my study window is south facing getting the heat all day, noise it's the quietest fan ever just a gentle whir in the background that is not the least bit annoying and does not detract when on the phone, unable to be heard in the next room, this suits my wife who finds fans annoy her but agrees that this one is brilliant, defiantly a best buy.
