Easy for set up, easy for clean, looks fab. High quality!
The box is pretty big ... but then there is a lot of accessories for the money and they need to be well protected in transit .... Which they are! Now the key question! ... Is it worth buying? Answer ‘Yes!” If you want a quality piece of kit by an established maker then you’ll probably not going wrong here. That said, if you intend to be making meals for the entire British Army three time a day :) There are so many things you can do with this, don’t think I’ve managed to use half of them yet. An ideal kitchen tool with almost every function needed. Try as many of the extras as possible you may be surprised how often you could use them. The best invested money. 100% recommended this product.

2nd Best Kitchen Purchase
I say 2nd Best, because our Instant Pot takes number one spot. This purchase was driven by my other half as she's been wanting a Kitchen Aid to help with all the Vegan baking she does, however we couldn't justify the price! This Kenwood mixer seemed like a great alternative at a much lower cost. The mixer itself is great.3 Different mixers are included; K Mixer, Whisk and Dough hook. All have been used numerous times and give great results. The process for changing mixer is a little strange at first as you simply pull and push, no twisting, but works a treat. There are multiple speeds and settings and a handy guide on the top of the mixer. The included guard is also great as it helps keep mess to a minimum. We leave this out on the side at all times due to it's frequency of use, so it was important it also looked good. The stainless steel looks tick those boxes. Also has the added bonus of being able to add various other attachments such as a blender and food processor to it, although we don't currently have these extras. This is something we're currently exploring.

Nice mixer but not as sturdy as expected, get what you pay for
My wife wanted a stand mixer and we were struggling to figure out why some Kenwood mixers cost 100 and others 700. Aside from power and size I presume sturdiness comes into play. Using this mixer with ingredients for a cake, the bowl is probably 1/3 full and the top of the mixer rises more than I expected as the mixer attachment works he mix. The stiffer the mix, the more it move. It's not like we are baking 5 products a day and have stress tested it but I like sturdy robust items and I have concerns about the longevity of this mixer, but time will tell.Needless to say, the baked goods come out just fine, so it's not a criticism of its ability to mix but I feel the need to have to push down with the palm of my hand to keep the attachment squarely in the bowl.In summary, fine for a budget mixer, if you bake regularly maybe pay a little more for a heavier and more robust model which I think will last a little longer.

A good choice mixer for me.
I started looking at food mixers last summer, changing my mind umpteen times. One bad review would put me off one model another bad review off another model and so it went on. I missed every deal on the many machines that Amazon offered over the Black Friday period. Even then I still hadn't made my mind up. It was then I asked myself what I wanted to do with a mixer and where I would store it. Storage narrowed it down quite a lot as I wanted to put it away in a cupboard. I'm really not into bread making, but make cakes etc. therefore this mixer seemed to fit the bill perfectly. I can add additional elements if I wish. It didn't have loads of reviews at the time, but every one that it had was 5* . I finally purchased my mixer at the end of March and have been totally pleased with it. It has done everything I have asked of it. . The mixer itself is light, portable, not really noisy, doesn't jump around the work surface and I'm convinced was the best choice for me.

Good while it lasted
This mixer was good while it lasted but the bowl attachment failed after 5 years. There is a plastic part on the underside of the steel bowl, this detached from the bowl. Now the bowl no longer attaches to the machine securely. The machine was only used less than once a month. It's pretty sturdy and weighty with exception to the locking mechanism from the top, there is a lot of movement from the upper part of the machine whilst it is mixing.Easy to use and has a large capacity.Did the job for my occasional use over the last 5 years

Best Value out there
I have spent several weeks looking for reasonably priced food mixer. So many reviews mention loose swirtches, speeds not slow enough, plastic chromed tools, noisy. All in all, there are a lot of pretty crappy ones out there.I even had trouble seeing mixers in the flesh so to speak as not even M&S had any on display. So, I decided that you can't get a decent mixer for under £100 and the good ones were well outside of my price range. I went for this mixer because it had good reviews (mostly) and I can say it's excellent. Ok, its plastic case can get marked (this one I got for £30 less than normal price as it was a reboxed item with a small mark on the top( but don't let this stop you buying one. It's not silent but I wouldn't say it's too noisy, it's a mixer and it has a powerful, geared planet drive so expect some noise. The tools are made of metal and they're self coloured, not plastichrome plated, which is an important feature. I've yet to put it to serious use yet but I'm sure it will perform well.

Compact and versatile little mixer is all you need for family and party baking.
Compact with everything you need, this lovely little mixer sits nicely in the cupboard but makes baking a complete pleasure. I am so pleased that I decided to purchase it! Splashproof lid stops the mixture from going everywhere. There is an easy press button to lift the top and the accessories are easily removed and replaced for cleaning. The suckers on the bottom are an lovely little extra and stops the mixer from dancing across the work top. I easily was able to bake a fruit tray bake mixture in it so whilst it isn't big enough to take bulk baking it will take more than enough mixture to feed a family - from a Mum with two toddlers! The beater also makes a nice batter mixture!
