Q: Do these colours blend?

They do blend to some extent. If you are using them lightly then they will, if you want a very bold colour and use more pressure it is a little more difficult.

Q: Is this ok for 7 year old?

This was bought as a present for a 5 year old and feed back from her mum says she enjoys it. She is supervised by her mum/dad when she uses them.

Q: Is this suitable for adults to use on adult colouring books?

Yes they are. I purchased these for myself and they are very good.
