Price when tested: £ 2.50. I got this to replace a similar looking metal flour shaker which started to show signs of rusting. I won't have the same problem with this plastic shaker. And at a third of the price of the metal shaker, this is a real bargain too. I use this to shake flour onto the worktop, my hands, or rolling pin, when kneading dough or rolling pastry. It gives a nice even spread of flour. It's easy to fill too with a smaller sized scoop and hasn't clogged up once. If you're looking for a flour or sugar shaker, I can recommend this one.

For £1.25 I wasn't expecting too much. This is really small but looks the same as a branded one selling for £5.95. Needed something to sprinkle soap powder on weeds. Works great at killing liver wort where nothing else does. Cute container, lid screws on so safe

Great for baking and for cleaning.

As other people have stated the one negative is that there is no cover to stop damp getting into the flour or whatever else you have contained within. To counteract that I just put a small piece of foil over the top and that seems to work. Definitely worth the money would buy again.

Great for flour

I bought two of these for pizza making. One for flour to dust surface when making dough, and one for semolina to cover the pizza peel to put it in the oven. They were perfect for this. They are quite small (a bit smaller than a mug) but ideal for what I needed. The holes are quite large, the same diameter as a cocktail stick. The lid screws on so no danger of spillage. The only improvement would be a sealable cap/ lid to cover the holes. I got around this by putting aluminium foil under the lid which screwed down easily creating a seal for storage.

totally great...good size and good shaker hole size. Great to have the cap so the sugar doesn't get moist.
