Esschert LS002 Large Round Slate Garden Sundial,Blue,9.75" dia.

My first sundial ever and it is BEAUTIFUL! Also amazingly accurate at telling the time! I am thrilled to receive it. I have a South facing garden so positioned it accordingly - but there is a guide included in the box as well if needed. It was safely packaged and handed over by the Amazon delivery driver, so no worries re broken bits - it is in perfect condition. It is really heavy as well and a quality piece, and I am SO glad I ordered it. I placed it on a metal stand which I have had for a while and think it looks lovely there - it is a piece of interest in the lower back part of my garden, which is a quiet, more nature-reserved spot. Totally love it, and being slate, I am sure it will last for many years.

This is a lovely sundial and is a good size. It quite thick and clearly marked. It needs to be better packaged to be sent out. It arrived in an Amazon paper bag. The peak is flat for packaging and wrapped in some thin foamy packaging. The first one arrived with the peak broken into 3 pieces so I exchanged it. The second one arrived today and although not broken it does have a chip out of it. I have kept it as it’s slate and I can live with the chip also this is probably how good it’s going to arrive. If they were packaged more securely they would be great

The dial was made of good quality slate. Very good value for money

Firstly this is a beautiful slate Sundial but unfortunately mine arrived damaged at the side. As it was well packaged I assume the one I got was faulty before packing. It was for an anniversary gift so I had to return it which was a bit inconvenient. But if you are lucky enough to get a perfect one it is a beautiful item.

Very happy with it

Arrived safe, easy to put together, looked solid. It was heavy and I assumed it would be safe outside over the winter, however, after a few wintery days it was broken. It seemed like the pins that keep the blade upright had allowed to water to enter the blade section, when it froze at night the water expanded and broke the slate blade. It is fixable but this flaw suggests it is poorly designed.
