Good value , excellent selection - well presented and versatile set in protective case
A great valie set.It arrived quickly and the sellers left no room for complaint. The kit was very well presented and bery well packaged and there is a great selection of nibs in different sizes and shapes. They are not all so similar with the same effects at all amd in fact more than on callographist or studen could share the pack.A kit well worth investing in and they have 2 pens which is very helpful. The box is very sturdy and looks and feels quite hard wearing so there is no need to spend on another case and they hold the nibs very securely and the kit contains a really good magnet forifting the nibs out of their individual compartments which again is very good i must say and i would buy any calligraphy item from them without hesitation. They are good value for money which is quite an attraction. In fact i am intregued to see what else they have for sale and would reccommend them if asked where to buy from.

Sturdy nibs, perfect for writing
Really strong nibs, definitely worth the £8, probably would cost you more buying cheap nibs in the long run. It came with a magnet and I have no idea what for, I'm new to calligraphy so I'm not sure if it's a real tool, but whatever :)

Versatile and high quality
Nice selection and a great addition to my other nibs. Good value for money - and the magnet to help pick up the nibs is a simple but genius extra tool! The handles aren’t great, you’d be better off with a good Tachikawa, or even the plastic ones that come in the Speedball sets - but they will do if you’re just trying it out. Nibs are great though, definitely worth it.

Best nibs for beginners
I've been using these for typography stuff for a couple months! Takes a bit of getting used especially if you've never used anything like this before, but overall really good quality nibs! The nibs themselves are really smooth on paper, and aren't particularly scratchy, which is a problem with a lot of cheaper nibs. I am also please with the variety of different shapes they come in, perfect for experimenting with different fonts. The handles that come with them are made out of wood: the orange handle is for the smallest nib whereas the dark brown handle fits the rest of the nibs. Personally I prefer the quality of the dark brown handle as it is coated with gloss and overall looks nicer, and I have found that the orange handle's paint has started chipping all over, bare in mind I have been using them for a number of months and sometimes forget to take them out of water when I'm cleaning them. However, I appreciate that these handles are made from wood rather than plastic which gives them a nicer weight and feel. The case is made out of low quality brittle plastic that shattered when I took it to school so I now just store my nibs and handles in a separate box.All in all, really good value for money, the packaging/ box isn't really important to me so that's why I'm still going to rate this 5 stars as I am rating the actual nibs and factoring in the quality for the price.Would definitely recommend for anyone starting out with calligraphy

Dip pen calligraphy not as easy as you'd think!
The set itself is adequate but I just cannot get a grip on the calligraphy thing with a dip pen so I have given this set away after numerous times trying with lots of mess. Some of the nibs really felt scratchy too but I don't know if this is normal.I'll stick with my Montblanc pen for 'posh' writing in future.

Great pens
For someone who doesn’t use dip pens very often I didn’t want to buy anything hugely expensive, this set is perfect. It has a good choice of nibs and the pens are easy to hold. It’s good value for money.

good set of quil nibs
Good variety of quil nibs suitable for most differnt styles of calligraphy writing. Box very cheap and plastic but so far the nibs and holders are working really well, the nibs fit snuggly inside the holders :)
