Having spent several months doing physio following a complicated total right hip replacement,and with a forthcoming total left knee replacement forthcoming, was advised that either an exercise bike or mini exercises would continue strengthening my new hip and help prepare for the next surgery by keeping joints strong and flexible... After months of deliberation I decided that a min-folding exerciser would cause less stress on my new joints,and small, lightweight, portable and easy to pack away afterwards. I then listed several taking on board customers reviews. and critical and positive comments.and finally decided on the ResultSport mini arm and leg exerciser. Well worth having taken time over.my deliberations..Made of excellent quality polished chrome...comes ready to use.. is sturdy, small and folds to pack away to a third of its size...Has strong good sized toe straps, and having adjusted mine on the tightest tension via the knob on the top, does NOT move around at all on carpet.The main thing is to ensure you are sitting on a supportive backed eg. dining chair.. and the machine is positioned just close enough to the front of the chair to allow pedalling quickly, smoothly and with ease... I use it for several short sessions daily, and it has definitely improved my mobility..and have only had it one week... Initially found friction caused a slight squeak and the plastic to become warm,but using my logic, I added a couple of drops of WD40 to the joint connection and had no trouble since after daily use for a week.Completely silent and smooth running. Can highly recommend this tiny piece of exercise equipment..and was well worth taking my time deciding on the right one... It was inexpensive and arrived very promptly. 10/10

I needed something to aid my mobility as I have a number of health issues & I am unable to keep myself as fit as I used too. I checked out similar models on Amazon and read reviews, before purchasing and from reviews, decided on this little beauty, right choice, yea!!!There was very little setting up, open the box, remove the plastic bag from mini bike, unfolding the machine and releasing the large knob adjuster screw that tightens and loosens according to the tightness you require to turn the pedals, mine still low. This was secured by a thick elastic band to the pedal, easy to take off and place into position, check the legs have locked into place, then off you go.I have found this little machine just the job, I still have on a low setting and now manage15 minutes morning and mid PM sitting on a dining chair reading my kindle or watching TV, I started at 5 mins, and have felt the benefit in circulation in my legs and them not feeling so stiff and I am sure in time will get up to 30 mins per session every other day and then hopefully each day and may tighten for some resistance into the future, but happy were I am now.The machine does not slip, i think because i am not leaning into it, i am above it, so pressing downwards, it is very sturdy for the price paid and is helping me and that is all i wanted.

Though I was pleased with pedal exerciser in every other respect sturdy, easy to use, folds away too my main gripe was that it slips on whatever surface you put it for that reason I have only given it 4 stars. I think perhaps putting against a heavy item is the only way to check the slipping. I would still buy it and recommend it for all the reasons above

I bought this pedal machine because the physiotherapist recommended it. I had a total knee replacement operation and am now trying to recover. Painfully, very painfully, I have to keep bending my knee. I had to get a bend of at least 90°, and once I reached that minimum the physiotherapist recommended that I get a pedal exerciser to help me force my knee bend further. Also for exercise, for legs and arms. And she specially mentioned this ResultSport one. I’m delighted with it. No assembly needed, just unfold it. It’s sturdy. It moves smoothly. It feels nice to handle. It’s a lovely piece of kit. Once my knee is better, I’ll definitely continue to use it for exercise. My husband rates it highly too. Don’t confuse this with flimsy cheap makes – this is a good solid quality product. Excellent. Of course I cannot comment on its longer term performance, but I’d fully expect it to continue as excellent. Thank you, ResultSport. Additional comment (6 October 2020, after 9 months my first review on 3 February 2020):I still rate this machine highly. However, note that I don’t have the tension tight, because I don’t use the machine for a workout, just to exercise my knee and associated muscles, so I cannot comment on it for mega-workout purposes. Note that the black rubber feet made significant black marks on the carpet, so it needs a mat under it; and Brucie suggested a non-slip mat for it on 2 August anyway to stop it moving when he does a big workout. Perhaps his isn’t on a carpet. Either way, a non-slip mat is a good idea. Finally I’ll add that I don’t use the foot straps because I don’t need to, instead I just use the pedals the other way up and let the proper side dangle down. It’s a good quality machine.

There is not a lot of resistance on the pedals whilst pedalling even after tightening the adjuster.

this exercise bike is perfect for my needs and folds away into a corner so it hardly takes up any room at all. I use it in an evening when I am watching tv and I find that it really helps to keep my knees and ankles moving and lessens the arthritis pain and stiffness. Well worth the money

I bought this as an aid to physio for my knee sprain which has been particularly difficult to heal. Bought this as a warm up to exercise and am pleasantly surprised at the quality and sturdiness. It is extremely easy to fold and unfold so I am not tempted to give up as I may have been with other machines. No digital display like some other machines as I did not feel I would need this. Very firm on carpet. Highly recommended.
