Just what is needed for home brew of all sorts. Like any other glass object, if it's knocked on something like a steel faucet/tap, it can weaken the glass to the point it will crack or smash the next time you use it. However, if you take care of the product, or dispose of it if knocked, you will be safe enough. These are bottles, and as such are not made from borosilicate glass (Pyrex is an example of Borosilicate). They're just glass, and therefore breakable, however, they are perfect for home-brew of all types for many years if well looked after. I have a dozen or so of these and they are brilliant. Clean with hot water from the tap and use Milton sterilising fluid and they'll last for years. I have recently used these for my home made parsnip sherry and they are perfect for this. Use some common sense and these bottles are very good value for money and will last a lifetime.

These Kilner bottles are the perfect size for making my coffee liqueur in. The are the quality that we have come to expect from Kilner, the cap is functional and does not leak like some, the clear glass lets the colour of your concoctions show nicely on the shelf. They fit easily into a fridge, making the most use of your space.

I'm a hard working man. I wake up at 08:45, a whole 15 minutes before I have to log on to my work-from-home job and my tiny little lizard brain yearns for vast quantities of water. I never feel as quenched, refreshed and rejuvenated as when I slam down a full litre from my Kilner Square Glass Clip Top Bottle, 1 Litre. The sound alone as the water glugs into my stomach will inspire me with such resolve that it can overpower even the strongest red wine hangover and convince me that I will survive. I get that some people have glasses (!??) and they use this as a temporary vessel for the water to then go into those glasses(!??), but those people are not experiencing the full breadth of this mighty product. And there is yet another, secret use for this revolutionary piece of hydration technology, and one I never hope to put into practice. It's very heavy and could easily dispatch a ne'er-do-well with a hefty enough thwack. As someone who has lived in a ground floor flat before and still wonders "what would happen if someone crawled in" as I lay a good ten metres above ground, I feel safer with this otherwise nondescript bludgeoning tool. I love you, water bottle.

J'aime beaucoup ces bouteilles que je trouve jolies. J'en ai commandé 12 afin de les caler dans une caisse pour aller chercher de l'eau de source. Le fait qu'elles soient carrées me va très bien pour les ranger côte à côte dans la caisse. J'utilisais des bouteilles plastique (genre Evian) mais il paraît que ce n'est pas sain de réutiliser ce genre de bouteille en plastique. Alors, j'ai choisi le verre.
