SoundPEATS Q16 Upgraded Version Truely Wireless Stereo Bluetooth 4.2 Headphones with Mic

Truly brilliant.Im a big fan of this type of earpiece (the one that goes in at an angle and has a hook over the ear).They seem so much more secure and seem to fit more naturally.However to go completely wireless is really taking them up to the next level.It does feel a little strange at first to have these in your ears and not have a wire, but once they connect and start working, all doubts are dispelled.The connectivity is really simple - just let your device discover the right one first and you can either use that as a mono device or use the accompanying left device as a stereo set.The bonus is here that you have a single piece to use as a bluetooth headset for a phone, or the pair as a stereo headset.The sound is really very good for such a small device - the comfortable fit meant that there was very little sound coming in from outside the earbuds, allowing me to get lost in the music.Speech was very clear too and the headset worked flawlessly as a pair.You get a split USB charging lead to charge them both off one wire, so thats a nice touch...as is the zipped carry case with the extra ear buds for all those different sized ears out there!The price is acceptable considering the versatility you get and the battery life seems more than adequate in between charges.Excellent value!

Still not convinced by these yet, but I am going to give them more time. The main problem I have is the frequent cut outs between the earpieces if I turn my head when crossing the road! Also, there seem to be lots of cut outs when in a built up area and at train stations. I've tried turning WiFi off to see if that makes a difference, but it doesn't. There do seem to be less cut outs if I have my phone on the right hand side of my body where the main earpiece is, but they haven't disappeared completely, and should the distance of a couple of feet make such a difference? It's a shame because the sound quality is excellent, sparkling treble and decent bass, plus plenty of available volume. I will persevere and try and delete apps and what have you to see if it's an app interfering somehow.Update:Soundpeats contacted me and asked me to go through several steps, but none have made any difference sadly. I note from reviews that even Sony true wireless earphones seem to have this cutting out problem, so maybe the technology isn't quite ready yet.FURTHER UPDATE: I have now changed phones (from an Ulefone Gemini Pro to a Huawei p20 Pro) and this has sorted out all dropouts, they just don't happen any more, so, maybe my problems were to do with my previous phone and not the headphones. The connection is really rock solid now.

Okay as you may have seen I have been purchasing lots of various ear phones to find the right ones for my needs. I wanted them for running and so far these are just what the doctor ordered.Previous to this I had the wireless sound peats where the two ear phones were connected by wire. They are still okay but wanted some that were independent from one ear to the next.They come with their own box with different size ear buds. These just pull off and snap on. very easy to changeThe Sound quality of the earphones is really good. They are easy to connect to any bluetooth device and sync well with each other. I have only had them for a few days and only been on a couple of runs but they feel very secure. What I love about them the best is when I am running on a country lane and need to be able to hear I can just take one out and hook it on my finger. Really handy. As time goes on I will add to this review but on first impressions if you are a runner then these are just what you need. Highly recommend.

These wireless headphones from SoundPeats are exceptionally good.For a start, they are truly wireless - not a cable in sight. What you have in effect is two separate mono earphones that can join together to make a pair of stereo earphones. Very clever.And it really is true stereo - not just the same sounds in both ears. There are 3 buttons on each bud, left and right and a 'multifunction' button, used for play/pause, answer/end calls etc. You start by pairing the right earphone to your phone (or music player) and then switch on the left earphone and it will automatically go into stereo mode. When you switch off the right earphone, the left earphone is also automatically switched off. Very clever (again).The carry case is also exceptionally good, and stores the earphones, charging cable and different sized sets of earbuds. I don't know if I have a slight deformity of my left ear, but I found the left one a bit uncomfortable. I changed the left bud to a smaller size piece and it was much better.Charging time is quick, about 90 minutes, and I can get a week's use just playing about 30 minutes each day.There really is nothing to dislike about these earphones and I would heartily recommend them.Thanks for listening.

These are the best earphones for running I've owned and I've tried a few. I've used them for training for a half marathon, they stay in, give good sound and are just fantastic. UPDATE. These are still amazing. However, one earphone broke last week. It was charging, but just didn't turn on. I contacted SoundPeats and their customer service (Kitty) was amazing. A few emails back and forwards to check there was nothing obvious and it was actually broken and as I was within the warranty period, I received a brand new replacement today. A great product, and when I had problem, they were amazing! Thanks SoundPEATS
